Can I do solo mining LBRY Credits without pools?
Can I using RPC login and password to start LBRY as server for mining to localhost:port, like another altcoins?

Where's config folder in windows?

Imo stop giving away LBRY to attract users.

Probably 100+ cryptos have tried and failed to use this as a method of bootstrapping. They normally base this strategy on how it worked for companies like PayPal but PayPal used separate cash not liquid shares.

Most cryptos who apply this strategy lose 80% of their value during their main give-away push. (While a $5 give away seems cheap or a $500k spend on say a $25 million valuation, start-up shares have very limited liquidity and price support so $500k worth of sells can drive the valuation down by many millions which then further discourages investment.) Not to mention crypto give-aways are heavily gamed so the acquisition cost of $5-10 probably easily translates to $100+ for each real new user when taking into account impact on share price and fake accounts.

The best marketing and adoption tool in crypto is a rising token price. Everyone will want to be part of an uncensorable YouTube and if inflation and give-aways are curtailed, the price will rise which will garner more and more exposure and attention creating a steam-roll effect in the right direction.

What happens to the price of lbc? Practically all currencies already recover the value of before the movement of btc less to lbc. What is going on? What are the steps of the project? There must be a dev satisfaction, if I continue in this I will dump my coins

I invested in LBRY on 22nd june when it was pumping from 17th june 11.27 worth of bitcoins and at that time LBRY reached 92 cents, Now my bitcoins are worth 2.5 and I am one the biggest bag holder of these, Guess it was my start in trading and I have learnt the hard way, I thought and believed this to be a great project but I don't know why this particular project has not recovered, All other altcoins have been recovering but not this particular one. Guess I will remain the bag holder of it till my 30k+ lbc becomes same worth as I invested in.

LBRY was on a series of pump and dumps during those ATH months (as was much of the crypto market).  There are so many good projects out there, LBRY has to prove itself guys. I haven't checked the latests client, but so far LBRY has been a bit underwhelming as an actual project.  I think the team needs to focus on the blockchain, and hire new blood to work on the GUI interface. 

No offense to any devs out there, but right now it's like a bad limewire from 2001.   With things like DTUBE being built on steem, and SINGULAR being build on ethereum, LBRY has to work out their tools for content creators and all users... This means within the GUI interface, but also API's so that LBRY can be integrated directly into other services. This is the only chance LBRY has.

I really think that LBRY also needs to think about creating investor/royalty tools. If users can propose projects, attract micro investors that are then paid through royalties, then LBRY can be a part of an artist revolution.  Otherwise it is just a clunky database that will be used primarily for illegal porn.

What Is The Best optimized Ccminer Miner To Mine Lbry With?

right now I'm getting 478 Mh/s with 1080TI 75%pwr +100core +0mem using CcMiner Alexis built in with Awesome Miner
if the an optimized miner that can get higher Mh/s? I noticed with this one sometimes there is a 10-30sec delay starting all the GPUs.

yeah totally agree, before I have  acc and each week get free 2 lbc when watching video , but now they ask credit for it no way I give them or any site my cc, really bad because it will make coin become untrust to use when they have info

Hi, i'm looking for solid/proportional pool for LBRY. All of the pools i've found use PPLNS payout mechanism. "About" section of Supnova pool says that distributions are proportional, i believe that this information is outdated and not correct. Any other real proportional pool suggestions?

im really sorry for you loss BUT it's not a loss unless you sell!! i was in a very similar situation in 2014 when i bought vericoin almost near its top and held the bag for a long time

you gotta look on the bright side, even though your down on your BTC investment, the price in BTC is going way up so your recouping your losses just because BTC is worth more.

my advice to you would be to accept that you are a long term holder of LBC and you should try to avg down by buying and trading.

..last little bit of encouragement..i sold all my vericoin early this year for a 2 BTC gain just because i held over the years and staked and traded the coin actively. if you just keep your head up and dont give up and sell you will get back in the green. just be grateful that you are bag holding a legit project and not one where the dev bails and coin goes to zero

Guys, check out new miner from Claymore. It should have a noticeable speed up for LBC in dual minig.

- about 1% ETH speedup for Vega cards.
- fixed issues with voltage/clocks management for latest AMD blockchain drivers (not completely).
- new GPU sorting method for NVIDIA cards. Now GPUs are sorted by physical bus index (it matches AfterBurner list of GPUs).

do you run mining on the same pc? with claymore? then change the remote port.
lbry app uses the same port 3333.
had the same problem as you.

with -mport 3334 in the claymore startbat

then everything should go

That's rough, I just hope you didn't put all your Bitcoins into one coin and you have plenty more. I did that once back when I was a noob and I lost it all. Everything, because I was desperate to make money. I'm just glad I was able to start over from the beginning and make a sort of a comeback.  

It's what I really hate about the Crypto business, the idea that people can lose so much.
