LBC is an perfect open decentralized trading platform for the trade in digital information products, such as films, video lessons, video streams with an open affiliate program. Longterm. Potential for growth of 500% + during the 2018 year.

I agree with this, also remember that LBC has VC funding and consistent developement. But at the moment its going to follow the general alt market trend ya know? Where it just tanks relative to a btc pump regardless of tech or updates. I imagine it will probably pump again, just like it did in the spring along with a huge list of other altcoins......altcoin prices relative to bitcoin are just getting slaughtered right now.

Really hate when projects don't hold their promises.
They made a referral campaign and paid only little of it. Now not even a little info about it. I would never use such a thing.
Problem is they got the hate of the people and they will always remember with it.

LBRY v0.19 Is Shifting Into High GearWe've heard two requests from our community over and over again: make it easier to get LBC, and let users subscribe to their favorite creators. With that in mind, the newest LBRY update should be a crowd-pleaser! Channel subscriptions are live, and we've integrated ShapeShift to allow users to easily convert popular cryptos into LBC without leaving the app. You'll find all this (and a lot more) in LBRY v0.19 - get it here and check out the full release notes below. https://lbry.io/news/lbry-shifting-into-high-gear

Seems much has been going on here. It's nice . But there was never a clear stand about their referral program-I mean that what they promised in the initial stages. They made so many changes and almost years rolled without any updates regarding this issue. Many people became just tools of 'free advertising' for them as they started denying/postponing their due referral earnings. Can such 'strange victims' expect any update or answer from the admins?
The referral program is addressed right here: https://lbry.io/faq/referrals I read on Discord that the limit will be removed soon. Any update on the removal of limits on Discord regarding the referral reward claims? The admins need to understand the role of promotion and many genuine promoters are waiting since long.Hope it happens soon.

Lots of scam accusations, dunno what to think of this yet, LBRY can easily change their algo to knock out an ASIC, so not sure why a company would invest $$$ into developing one (especially for a young coin in LBRY or even PASC)

I am watching from the beginning to the exit of the exchange project and first half of the year will tell you the price of the coin is very disappointed, it is very much subsided. Then spring was able to win back losses by buying at a lower price. And now, it seems to me a very tasty price to buy. What are you say

Pretty much this, digibyte is having the same problem and they said that it takes 3-4 months to switch to differnt algos.Yes dgb have more then 1 algo but looking at those hash rates(if they are legit)owner of those asics would have really fast roi....

it is very bad, i hate ASIC idk, i think in some sense it shows a strong belief in LBRY's survival from big players. They invested im sure alot of money to make the ASIC happen, no doubt they know LBRY will be here for years to come PASC, well, thats an interesting algo to add , not sure about that one ;p

Would it be safe to assume that they are very anti asic as well?

Upon running LBRY app this morning, I got an info that I need to update. After downloading the upgrade via app, they informed that they'll now run the update and that it'll close and I need to re-run the app. It's been more than an hour and what I got is just "Starting lbry upgrade....." Any idea on what to do?
