Anyone can make an asset.  As far as what to invest in... people have reputations... you need to do some research.  Like on eBay would you deal with someone new that was selling with no reputation?  Or a bad reputation?

A lot of the projects are mining operations right now... mining BURST or other coins and converting to BURST. People buy shares and share in the profit.

That being said... you don't have to buy or do anything with the asset exchange.  It's just one aspect of BURST.

I think Burst will be a great long term hold, more like 6 to 12 months from now. And we may even see Burst at 0.10 usd in the near future like some time this year. This is why my brother and I have invested a lot in hard drives to mine Burst and we ain't stopping anytime soon as we are buying at least a 5TB drive every month. This time when the price starts to rise again we might go over 1k sats.

There have been a lot of attacks lately impacting things fyi.  Online wallets at burstnation.com (under "burst tools") tend to be reliable to log in. 

Faucets get abused and run dry... you might have to post your burst address and have someone send you a couple of coins.

 You need a couple when you're first setting up if you're using a pool, after that you do not.
 I'm not sure how it works if you try to solo mine.

I've been slowly accumulating more and more Burst each week as well as the Burst coin my brother and I mine from out current 18.4TB. We have had some set backs with plotting as we had a couple of power outages which have set us back but we are almost finished plotting another 5TB drive which will put us over 22TB. It is starting to get harder to mine blocks now even in a pool as with arounf 15TB we were mining a block each week and now with 18.4TB we mine 1 block every 2 weeks so that is why we are going to try and add at least 5TB each month.

I'm happy right now as our 5TB drive has finally finished plotting and now we can add it to our 18.8TB setup. We will be buying another 5TB drive in the next week or two as like I said I and my brother would like to get up to at least 50TB by Christmas.
