Who really uses bitcoin?

well i think not a lot of people uses bitcoin right now but i really use it a lot, i buy some digital goods with bitcoin and i sometimes buy physical stuff from ebay shop

If we are saying that we had a lot of bitcoin community who uses bitcoins,  Still there are more a lot of people are aware of bitcoins that we had now in our community of cryptocurrencies. Though many of them too they heard more about bitcoin but still ignoring the deepest advantage that bitcoin has.

If they are ignoring bitcoins then they are really missing something in their lives, but I think over a period of time when bitcoin will get more popular we will find more users who will start using it.

   Bitcoin is used by everyone, there is no borders for something like bitcoin is. I read around forum how kids earn coins, people in late years, here we can see people from almost every country in the world.
   If bitcoin continue to grow with this speed like in last 5 years, probably there will be much more people in bitcoin community, price will be higher and stable, that is the plan right? One day bitcoin to be accepted everywhere and everyone to use it without big control from the banks and governments? Or I didn't understand point of bitcoin.

If you want to know who uses bitcoin then there are so many ways that can tell. The first is here on this forum. Most of the members joined because they know one thing or another about bitcoin. secondly, look at the peer to peer platforms where people lend through bitcoins. Thirdly, so many outlets have come up to accept bitcoin as a form of payment for their products and services. Also, look at the exchanges, there are so many who are exchanging bitcoin with other commodities and currencies.

It's very simple, people who are aware about bitcoins are using it and most of them you will find on this forum, and I think its our responsibility that we should teach people around us about bitcoin to grow the community.

know the exact number of people from every country is impossible but you can track that how many contrys are involved in bitcoin just visit a popular exchange like btc-e or anything which consist of a chatbox and ask how kuny users are from specific country

As far as i know, i'm sure male, young people, trader, tech nerd, gamer or online employer are the one who use bitcoin.
I saw some statistic which show young people, those who live in america/europe and male are the majority of bitcoin user.

I have seen that too , everyone who has aware about technology and money making in internet , maybe also knows about bitcoin as well as other type of e-currency like paypal ,payza , and perfect money.

People who knows about bitcoin uses it.  Have  you ever think how can a person who don't know bitcoin use it?  Among those who know it, the one who support it most are the people who invested on it.  Possibly investors that  want to have profit by simply holding it, while others are people who are not qualified to have a visa card or credit card and found bitcoin can be use as online payment.

the answer of your statement that i bold,i guess they're not ready yet,they just want to stay in the safe zone even it'll took higher monthly payout without bitcoin,doesn't mean they really ignoring it thought,but i can sure that they will eventually use bitcoin after they see it's quite safe

In this forum there are more than 800.000 members and supposedly all of them are using bitcoin. But this is not true as many persons here have a lot of alt accounts so in this forum I say maximum number of persons who are unique and are using bitcoin is 250.000-300.000 users. Anyone who has listen something about bitcoin and have been curious about it by googling for it. These persons may have opened up a wallet in blockchain to just try it and they are "frozen users" as they don't really know how to make the most of bitcoin. And last there are persons who are lurkers of the dark net who do the majority of bitcoin transactions.

Demographic way of looking is simple, here we have people from every country in the world, in local section we can see who is more active then others, but generally every country from the world have at least one user.
I'm more interested in what kind of people use bitcon currency. Is there some special characteristics that connect all of us here? Is there more scammers or honest people in bitcoin world?

Well, i think mostly younger people use it. Also every citizen use it. Even we agree on it, many people don't know about bitcoin, but still in every country's people use it, mostly we are using it in online shopping, purchasing and selling anything. Actually for me, bitcoin is a easy way to transfer amount in any where and also paying bills.

Yes I think people from almost all countries are aware about it and small proportion of every country is using it, but not everyone is aware about and that is the major issue, just imagine the scenario when even 1/3rd of the population starts using it.

I think bitcoin users not only the users who use bitcoin as a currency only. but users bitcoin cover everything. whatever you do with your bitcoin. be it investing, gambling and so on. when you start using bitcoin. I think you automatically become bitcoin users

very honestly most of the people are not using bitcoin the reason is that most of the people have no opportunities to use bitcoin in their local markets, in some states bitcoins is consider as illegal therefore they are not using it openly in their local area, therefore most of the people are holding their bitcoins for price increase.

Most techies and other people inclined with computer knowledge tend to use bitcoin more compared to the general population. The average people who doesn't know much about bitcoins tag it as someone related to criminal activities and as such, they tend to to stay away from it as much as they can.

I think bitcoin users not only the users who use bitcoin as a currency only. but users bitcoin cover everything. whatever you do with your bitcoin. be it investing, gambling and so on. when you start using bitcoin. I think you automatically become bitcoin users

There's not really a lot of heavily active bitcoin users.
I'd say there's only around 50.000 - 150.000 bitcoin users who receive and spend bitcoins everyday. Most just hodl their coins and waiting it out to get the highest possible price.

Yes , i agree with you, not all of us are using it, i have a circle of friends who uses bitcoins and i have also another circle of friends that is not using bitcoins, i think, the ones who uses it are those who have own pc and internet that will need money for their own things and they have nothing to do but to sit in front of their computer.

I recall some researches have already been done and I participated in some of them but don't think they publically published the results. I think this would make a great research topic for those thinking about one and are fans of bitcoin.
