Yes most of the people are using bitcoins for gambling purposes as bitcoin gives them high level of privacy and they can gamble it freely without any involvement of third party.

We don't have any statistic or research about it, so we can't talk about gender, nationality, age etc.
I think that Bitcoin uses open minded people, who are not afraid to try something new, people ready to change and adapt etc.
Bitcoin is basically way of life and way of thinking, not just some ''virtual currency.''

I agree with you that bitcoin is for open minded people and those who were not afraid to try something new.  I was so afraid before to try bitcoin.  Scams are everywhere on online world.  And trying it opens an opportunity for me to have something to earn.  I have enjoyed earning and investing it.  It was really hard at first but it so worth a try.

the gambling industry accounts for more than 50% of all the transactions. this percentage has even been higher a few years ago, but that's mainly due to people using bitcoin also for other purposes since the acceptance right now is much greater. people have more options to spend their coins now.

I agree with you that bitcoin is for open minded people and those who were not afraid to try something new.  I was so afraid before to try bitcoin.  Scams are everywhere on online world.  And trying it opens an opportunity for me to have something to earn.  I have enjoyed earning and investing it.  It was really hard at first but it so worth a try.

We have the same feeling too when i first encounter with bitcoin because  i thought that it would be another scam online  thats  why  i make deep research about bitcoin and  somehow  interest me  to give it a try then my decision was right   and  it worth to  earn bitcoin  as of  now.

lol that is why  we called them bitcoin users  because they use bitcoin regardlesss of where they use bitcoin. 

In my point of view, investors are the first one who uses bitcoin.  The reason is that they are the people who actually hold bitcoins, and of course if we said use, it means moving bitcoin for certain purposes.  Either trading,  use as  currency or as investment.

I am one of them, I use bitcoin so that I can gamble with them with a privacy, and I think its the best and easiest way in compare to gamble with fiat where you have to disclose your identity.

It really depends on how you define 'use'.
For example, are people holding physical gold actually using it? I'd argue yes. They're using it as a form of wealth preservation or speculation.
I imagine most people "using" bitcoin are using it in the same sense.

There are a lot of companies and persons who are somehow depending on bitcoin.
The miners/mining pool and every comapany that solely sells crypto related services, with that you have a large group of people who want to buy btc to purchase these products.

I don't think it will change. I think the gambling aspect will only grow bigger in the coming years. Especially when large casinos will start accepting Bitcoin payments online. That's when you'll see the actual usage of Bitcoin by gamblers shoot through the roof. I am quite sure that even non Bitcoiners will jump into it. Especially when gambling in their country is forbidden. Bitcoin offers an open door for these people.

Almost gamblers online are staying in bitcoin because of anonymity and easy to use unlike that you  gamble outside that you need to deposit and asking to verify your identity before you can start deposit that other people or gamblers they dont wan to share their identity thats why we have bitcoin we can easily use our money in bitcoin just to gamble.

Yes you can’t get full proof information about facts through survey but still we can get certain information on sample basis which will reflect the information of whole group. I know it’s difficult to interview each and every bitcoin user but that is the reason surveys are meant for, a random sampling can describe trend of whole community which might be similar to the opinion of whole community. It’s better to have some information than nothing.

This thing would be possible  but  it would  took long time  to achieve as we all know  bitcoin is   not fully adopted yet  on some countries  and some  would have a hard time to understand  on the concept of bitcoin hence not  all people  do have  knowledge  on  online stuffs.  As far as  i know only <1% of  worldwide population uses bitcoin as of now.
