Yeah you could do that, but I think it will never be worth it... Thats the info from last mint: 1 g can be melted for: 1278.3280189692596  XAUR
So that means 1g can be melted for 286 USD worth of Xaurums if I understand correctly. And that makes sense, because the point of Xaurum is also growing gold base and that means more gold behind every single Xaurum and therefore higher price for all coins. The main point of gold base backup is there for more stable price and also to give this cryptocurrency something that is also valuable in the world. I am not pro so sorry if I am wrong
