It is our honor to present to the world a beautifully crafted DIY physical bitcoin that we call our "signature series", in honor of a successful halving & a loyal bitcointalk community!  


What's our goal?
To deliver a truly stunning work of art with a significant meaning ( not just being able to load her up with bits!   ). To fully commemorate this momentous occasion that is producing our first coin , we will donate a portion of the sales to the forum herself! We hope to encourage others to donate & keep this site ( our 2nd home ) alive & well!     ( we will also be announcing some goodies down the line   , so stay tuned! )


Mintage numbers for the signature series?
001-100 Gold with silver plating.      001-100 Antique bronze with silver plating.    001-100 Satin gold.


What are the max amount of letters/numbers i can use for my name on the coin?
Max is 10 characters/numbers including spaces. Please no obscene wording  


Can i reserve a # or set ?
Coins are sold as first come first serve. First 10 coins of each material will be auctioned off!

When's the last day i can place an order ?
Sales will be active until August 9th 2016 - 11pm Eastern time. ( we need to give them time to engrave names & numbers)

What are the coins made out of?
Since this is our first mintage we have decided to hold off on doing precious metals until our next design/batch ( Announcing those bad boys soon! Silver coin & bars, .1 .5 & 1BTC very limited runs)
These coins are made of brass/zinc alloy with higher end nickel/gold platings.
Diameter: 38mm
Thickness: 3mm
Face value: 0.05BTC

What about the holos & funding?
We thought that the Signature series would work best if users used their own holos to fully "customize" their coins. Future batches of coins will have holos as the Signature series would be the only set without them.
Coins are sold as a DIY COIN NO PREFUNDING NEEDED.

What is the price & shipping?
Price for each coin will be : .065BTC  
Shipping for each coin to anywhere in the USA is : .015BTC Tracking & insured (Any orders of 10 or more coins will have a shipping rate of .03)
Shipping for each coin Worldwide is : On a case by case basis , please message us to get the right rate. ( If you have a preferred shipping service please let us know as we know international shipping can be a bit wonky sometimes)

When will the coins be minted & shipped ?
Final coin designs were approved by us July 19th 2016 , Production will begin the following week ( Week of the 25th of July) . Delivery time to us should be 3.5 - 4.5 weeks from that date ( hopefully the mint can get it to us even sooner!) , we will review each coin then ship to their designated homes!

I'm not sure I'm prepared to pay until we see actual pictures of what we are buying either.
While I have reserved numbers I can't help but feel the lack of holograms is extremely off putting.

I haven't heard this guy's name in collector's community before but am new here so am not sure and thus i agree with you completely for not payingbefore seeing any actual pics for the coin...

OP... you could always buy some generic holos on eBay to offer now before making custom ones.  Many people prefer holos provided with coins, or they may pass on them otherwise.

To begin,

We are new to the collecting community ( minting , as we own some physical coins ourselves. Mostly early dogecoins) but we've been apart of the forums & community for quite some time. From doing trades & sales to designs & consulting. This is our first coin but we hope to make more!

Chosen signature will be located in the box on the left of the coin , the box on the right will contain the numbering ex: 001-100

With regards to holos , we wanted to include them for this initial batch but thought that placing your own custom holo would be better ( to keep with the customization theme) We can look into adding holos though!

We would not mind having an escrow for all the funds ( including the auctions for # 1-10) since many are weary of payment before mint. We've dealt with SebastianJu many times & would not mind going through him again if he wanted. ( we'd even give him one of each coin !   )

Where are the coins being minted and are those the final designs?  I'm wondering how good the coin quality is going to be versus the photos that are being shown. 

Also, is the glare going to be present on the coin or is that just a photo effect?  It almost looks like a blurred picture of a street at night.

Mint cannot be declared ( our little secret for now) & yes these are the final designs as stated in OP. Production begins next week ( week of the 25th of July ).

Glare is just a photo effect but we can say that we've seen many example coins from the mint we chose. We are extremely happy with their quality

I'm certainly not buying crappy ones off of eBay.

Also, I would like to see some pictures of the actual coins, just prototypes, before I send money direct to you.
Once SebastianJu confirms everything is up to scratch, I'll happily pay him.

As stated before we are looking at the hologram situation now & will come up with an answer soon as we didn't intend to include holos with the signature series.

We opted with a 3d rendering & not a physical prototype as that would add an additional 2 weeks to production time. We trust their production skills 100%.

Once we settle all the fine details with Sebastian we will list his address above in bright red next to our address.

I know nothing about the OP's reputation and am not speaking for or against them.

Coinographic did the same thing by getting pretty pictures posted and taking preorders.

I'm not saying OP is a scammer (I don't know). I implore people here to be cautious, ask for escrow options or actual pictures of the product you are purchasing before paying.

Of course in the end it is your funds, do as you wish.

Apologies, I can be a bit thick at times and miss things

I am honestly more of a funded coin type of collector, but I don't mind adding the odd DIY set here and there. Holograms, to me personally, are important.

Well, if the coins turn out as good as your 3d rendered images, then I'm sure we will all be happy

As for escrow, there are a majority of us here, in this part of the forum, that have regular escrow members that we use for these sort of transactions.
SebastianJu is fully trustworthy, but maybe you should consider giving the option for people to have a choice of a mutually agreeable escrow. OgNasty and Blazed are 2 well known and trusted members, for example.

With that said, I have considered everything, and am prepared to let Lutpin have set #25
I will keep #50 and #75 for the time being.

I don't intend to come across as harsh, but this looks like it is being rushed.

You so far have 10 sets reserved of each ( #13 sold ). You plan to make a 100 of each of these, with sales closing in ~1 week.

What happens if you only manage to get ~25 reservations by the time sales close? What happens then?

Hey all,

We know there are many trustworthy escrows on here & would not mind using blazed or OG as we've seen them for years & know they are honest & hardworkers. We have chosen to use Sebastian because of his flawless communication, preparation & overall have never had a bad time dealing or speaking with him.( who knows maybe our next batch we could use blazed or OG  )

We chose not to do funded just yet because of all the Fincen worries, so this coin is strictly DIY( maybe we can partner up with another user & create a funded coin next??)

With regards to not having them all sold in time , we hope to fill the orders completely since they have the name engraving. If we can't fill the 100 of each then the extras would be auctioned off but those would most likely have a blank where the name is supposed to be as they were never claimed.

August 1st is a soft deadline because it would help not delay the coins from the mint. ( what about a August 6th deadline ? What do you guys think?)

1. The signature series will only have a face value of .05BTC but you can load it with however much you want. We will be releasing a precious metals coin series with .1 , .5 & 1BTC Face value later on.

2. We will be using SebastianJu as the escrow for the funds & for the auction funds , to keep everything under one roof. ( it helps with organization)

3. The spot for the holo/private keys is 1 inch , designs have already been approved & finalized so no unfortunately we cannot alter that.

Once the Wallet and the Supreme Coins are released to the investors we will wait 7 days to see if problems arise with the Coins, then I will release the Bitcoins to the issuer. You can check a signed message very easy. The fastest way is to visit http://wallet-2sx53n.sakurity.com/#verify.

Investor Verification

There are two ways to verify your investment which is important when, for some reason, the investment has to be refunded back to investors.

First way:

Only send Bitcoins from an address you can sign a private message from or at least where you are able to get the private key for that address! This is important since in case of REFUND you can't proof otherwise that you sent bitcoins when you, for example, sent the bitcoins directly from an Exchange. In that case better send them first to your wallet and then from there to the escrow address.

Second way:

Another alternative to proof your ownership of a payment would be to send me the last 4 numbers of your user id as satoshies in your transaction.

Move your mouse over my username, see my profile id is 18640. You can see yours when you are in your profile and hover the mouse over the links on the left menu. Something like u=18640 in the links show your User-ID. The last 4 digits are 8640. When you add these 4 numbers as satoshies to your payment then it is pretty sure it's your payment too.

For example you want to send 2 bitcoins and your profile id would be 18640 then you send 2.00008640 Bitcoin.

Refunds possible?

Refunds can only be done in case the issuer agrees or there are reasons to stop the project by the escrow, because there came up doubts that make the project too insecure to proceed.

As long as you did not verify your investment transaction in some way I will see your investment as unverified. Otherwise it could mean a random person could claim an investment as his investment and steal it from a shareholder.

Refunds can only be done instantly when you can proof ownership of the investment. Either by signing a message from the sending bitcoin address or by your investment amount matching your forum user id. See description about verification above.

If you can't proof the ownership of an investment and a refund needs to be done then you need to wait some weeks so that the risk of being scammed is lower for me and the (potential real) owner of that investment. You would want I protect your investment too when someone claims it was his investment and only can show the transaction id, right?

Only saw your question now... The problem with refunds is that anyone can come and claim that a tx id is his. So in order to proof that it is a certain investors investment he either has to proof that he controls the sending address or already proofed it upfront with his investment.

The possibilities are... you send the normal amount from your own wallet where you CONTROL the private keys of the addresses. Then you are able to sign a message for the sending address. No one else than you can do that.

Second way is to proof it by sending the payment together with the last 4 digits of your bitcointalk forum user id. If your payment should be 0.1 bitcoins then it does not matter if you send it from an exchange where you don't control the privkeys WHEN you add the last 4 digits of your user id as satoshies. For example if your userid wouldbe 15678 then you would send 0.10005678. Which would proof pretty good that you were the person sending the coins since only 1 of 10k users could have the same id and it would be unlikely that there would be a conflict. It's the very most easy, fast and practically nocost way to proof the ownership of an investment. The fastest to check for me also.

Last resort would send a small amount of satoshies again from the same address if you can enforce it. Though in that case you could sign a message also.

If all was not done then a refund would take some time because you would not want me to tell you that another person without proof claimed your tx and I paid him out.

That will be proof of my username which is unique, it's associated with a coin or more and in case of issues before shipping Xboxthreefixme can say coin X, Y, Z or set X, Y, Z are all in perfect conditions
or there are issues with them. Then we can either go ahead with it or refund. If refund Xboxthreefixme can say refund user X for coin X with this Tx Id.

I understand for ICOs you get a lot more Txs and it's more difficult, however this is not an ICO hence why using an escrow which is popular in the collectibles space would have been preferred.
I'm not saying you are not trustworthy just saying that it is the first time Xboxthreefixme makes a coin, all sorts of things and delays can happen.
Not sure also about shipping, what is the OP experience with shipping outside the US? What if they coins don't arrive because of a mistake?

How long will escrow hold the funds before delivery confirmation, sometimes packages take up to 3 weeks to arrive, depending on where they are sent and which service is used.

In this case I'd gladly get all my orders sent to MinerJones for re-shipping to me, of course if he's willing to accept.
I'd also be much more keen on paying MinerJones for escrow or others who usually deal with collectibles escrows and are known in this forum section.
MJ knows all about coins he will understand if there are issues and is a very organized person, never seen anyone faulting him of something.

Of course that depends on the OP and MJ. From what I see so far there isn't much interest for this coin, a small change as I suggested above could make a big difference.
Once the first batch of coins has been sold and delivered and people are happy, I'm sure everyone will also be more relaxed about sending funds for the next release.

Only suggesting here. OP is free to do as he thinks best, they are his coins at the end of the day.

We have stated to him since the beginning that the only escrow for this coin would be SebastianJu & that if anyone wanted to do a group buy/ship they would have to pay the escrow. ( any group buys/ships would go through SebastianJu)

We have no problem waiting for the coins to arrive safe & sound before escrow is released.( regardless of the long international ship times)

Some sort of "standard" engraving would be a good idea, the coin just would not look right with a blank box.
Maybe you could have a standard engraving that can be a opt out option for members that would prefer a blank box for their own engraving.

We did have a word with the mint regarding the Engraving. The number will have to be cut to 10 letters to accommodate the coin design ( any more than that & it would have been 2 lines of writing & would have altered the coin design. )

The transactions you mentioned worth 0.06 BTC are mine which were paid after winning auction for all the three coins numbered #7. 0.02 BTC per coin was paid by me for all the three coins. I even paid for them within 24 hours of the auction end, still the guy didn't get my name engraved on the coin. Waiting for a reply from him.

Grtthegreat - Unfortunately you were the only one that paid for the custom engraving so it wouldnt make sense to only have one set custom engraved, if you'd like we have no problem telling the escrow to refund you if you don't want your coins. Please let us know what you'd like to do.

I'm absolutely fine with normal engraving you guys did. But had it been custom engraved, then my set of coins would have been rather completely rare. It'd be better if you could get my name custom engraved if that's still possible. Either way, I don't want any refunds, I want my coins (all numbered 7,  )

Sir we just posted yesterday that we would let everyone know when we were shipping & that we were still waiting on the holos. Don't say we don't reply & please be patient as everyone else is. We will respond as quickly as we can. We've been here longer than most...we aren't going anywhere.

You've messaged & we have replied just like we have on this thread. There is no rush to have these coins shipped , we want to make sure everything is taken care of before we release them to the public.

What's wrong with these coins? It's been 10 days, no updates whatsoever. Seriously, this whole thing has been the worst experience.

PS: Don't tell that for security reasons, you did allow escrow. Because its not about money, its about delivering the promised product in time.

Is the hologram still in manufacturing and you're waiting on that to assemble the coins?  I may purchase some once they are finalized.

@Grtthegreat - Nothing is wrong with the coins they are sitting waiting to be shipped. Once again we are waiting on the holos. If its such a bad experience let us refund you your escrow  We will also be sending you the pictures of your specific coins as you requested.

@digicoinuser - Hologram was proposed finished by the manufacturer 2 weeks ago & have been in transit , we've been waiting all this time but at this point its getting a little ridiculous. Any ideas for a local ( USA) Holo manufacturer ?

Did he give a tracking id? Maybe it got stuck in customs but I think it's not likely. The holos should be not something they need to control.
