Hey everyone. I thought Bitcoins were great when I first heard of them several years back. Think I 1st saw them on John Robb's Global Guerrillas blog or possibly on Zero Hedge - obligatory 'kicking myself for not investing back then' statement. Ah well, hindsight's 20/20, what counts now is foresight. Mine sees a better Bitcoin future, where a healthy monetary system unites people in productive cooperation.

Hi.

I just started my own meager mining operation a few weeks ago. This is all really cool and fascinating to me.

Hey, Everyone

Heard so much about Bitcoin & mining last few months -- finally decided I'd start doing some digging.  What I didn't expect was the incredible community that has grown up around Bitcoin.  Nice to be a part of it all  Smiley

I haven't done any Litecoin mining, but if it's anything like Bitcoin, you'll soon need GPU's in your machines.  I remember reading that ASIC's that could run the Litecoin algorithm will be too costly to supplant GPUs in the mid-term, but I'm not sure which GPU technology (OpenCL, CUDA, etc) will give you the best bang for the watt.
