Hi all,

Just saying hello and letting you know that I'm looking forward to participate in something historic.

I'll take a look around but if someone can direct me towards satoshi's posts or any Security posts I'd be grateful.

Cheers,

John.

Just a Bitcoin fan from Canada, I mostly like the mining aspect of bitcoins so I spend most my time in the hardware/software section

Hi....newbie here.  Was pointed this direction by the folks at Ripples.  I'm a new Bitcoin user, however, so am also interested in learning from those with a bit of bitcoin experience.  Hopefully, I can stay on here long enough to post in other places and receive new XRP as well.  Thanks!

Hello, Bitcoin world. I want to learn more about Ripple and OpenCoin's business model. I am making this introductory post because of the new user requirements. Only four more posts to go.

Welcome! A more suited place to learn about that would be on their forums  Wink

Just realized I didn't have posting privileges, so here I am. I am sort of a techie/writer/statistics-enthusiast; you may have read and enjoyed some of my pieces in the past, the most relevant to Bitcoiners being:

(The last time I posted on the forums about Silk Road, my thread was deleted. I wonder what will happen this time?)

Hello! New to bitcoins in practice, been watching it for ages. I'm afraid I may have missed the boat, but there's no harm in trying. Smiley

I'm wanting to invest in an avalon pool, if possible.

Glad I jumped in the pool.

Greetings Kennji.  I'll look forward to seeing you in the various threads once we are freed from this five post purgatory, or more correctly deemed, "limbo".    ;-)

Hello everybody.

I would like to apply for getting out of the newbie box earlier than required Smiley
I am particularly qualified, as I have read the first sticky on top of the Newbie Section.

Furthermore I am able to apply what I have read there Smiley

Hey, and IF anybody reads that at all: you are awesome!
Now let's unlock the features, as I have to exchange posts with nitrous concerning his mt.gox API v2.

LAWL

If you lawled, too, or at least smiled a little bit -> unlock me Smiley)))

Just joking, will/can do like everybody else here...

Hi, i've been messing about with bitcoin and litecoin for about a week now and starting to get the hang of it. Been looking to set-up my own mining rig (instead of my normal pc) but with the advance of asics and the powercost in the netherlands it looks like i'm just mining to support bitcoin. I don't mind though since i like the idea  Grin Also been looking into litecoin because of that and it looks promising.

gwern
hi gwern!
I stumbled over your site some time ago DNB-related.
I was always wandering how many folks contribute content to your site.
However, what a funny coincidence to see you here on my first day Smiley
Kind regards, bnjmnkent.

I was always wandering how many folks contribute content to your site.

It's pretty much just me writing the site. If someone wrote something, I try to credit them clearly.
