Bitcoin still has to see a lot of ups and downs so reach that stage, it is already some years old and it has discovered a lot and reached to a large extent of user interface but for getting international and reach mainstream it would still need to wait for some more years i guess.

If you mean by international currency is replacing dollar then the answer is going to be a long time, because some of the country even ban bitcoin due to the bitcoin reputation and then i havent see any infra-structure that can support bitcoin usage and then the biggest problem is the transaction time which take a long time, so its still far away from replacing dollar as international currency

As people are awarding of bitcoin & its potential. When we can see bitcoin as international currency? Huh

This will take many more years to come. Especially now after another bitcoin exchange security breach. The bitcoin price is just not stable enough to be a major international currency. Investors are getting spooked out of bitcoins too fast.
I have to agree ^^^, this will take many more years to come.  There are to many governments who are concerned with controlling the currency and this is stopping them from making it mainstream because they have no control and they are not making any money off of it.  You have to remember that the government always has to get their share!!

the more people will start using bitcoin the more people will be scammed. the hacks wont stop. the smart people will learn to not store their bitcoins for long time periods in hot wallets.
maybe the price will stop to change so much and often if people get used to these scams and hacks, but i think we can expect the media coverage to raise if the popularity goes up and this will mean that more people can panic or get exited, so i would expect more ups and downs in the future.
this will continue even if bitcoin replaces a government currency, which i do not see happening.
or let me put it this way. it this would happen, then the world changed a lot and probably not for the better.

You are right, may be it will take a very very long time to be happen. But I think it must be happen. And I think bitcoin would not make other international currency like usd or euro dissapear, bitcoin will be just one part of international currency.

Believe it or not, bitcoin is international currency from beginning. I don't see that bitcoins can belong to any country more then to others. I'm not so long into bitcoins, but as I see here there is people from all over the world. That is international, without any borders.
Bitcoins are used in all world, and whrn right time come people will be able to buy almost everything with bitcoins without exchange coins first and lose money on transaction fees.
It's my opinion, and I think I'm right because bitcoin doesn't have state of origin. Bitcoin belongs to all of us.

Bitcoin is helping in many ways and we don't want it should be international currency or should replace any major currency, we should be satisfied with benefits its offering us.

thanks to you i had an interesting idea. if we talk about bitcoin as a currency for a country then most people thing that a certain country will adopt bitcoin as their official currency.
some expect this and only wonder when this happens and who the first of many countries to come will be.
the cool thing about 2 different countries with the same currency is, that you have no interest to go to war against them since you would hurt the value of your currency.
and in conclusion bitcoin could contribute to a peaceful world. great.

Seeing how bitcoin is already known and being used around the world, I guess it's safe to say that bitcoin is now an international currency? Since it can be used at almost every country except for those that have banned bitcoins. Although it hasn't received an official statement of acceptance by the government, it still is already being used.

I think OP wants to know when bitcoin will replace USD as the international means of exchange.

Top banks of the world are coming up with their own coin, they will rather use their coin as an international means of exchange than use bitcoin.
It is quite sure that all those banks and especially USA will not allow any other fiat currency or bitcoin to overtake USD and dominate the international market. But when people will slowly realizes the benifits of storing their wealth in bitcoin than bitcoin may be as valuable as gold and may dominate some part of the international market.

Yeah, indeed I am sure that will be rejected by all of the bitcoin bank and also the State of super power (USA), but it also does not give bad effect to bitcoin for bitcoin can stand on its own and become a valuable item for those who know it well bitcoin. Although there may be a replacement, that certainly is bitcoin origin of it all and maybe history will record it all

Then OP will be very diappointed as this not going to happen the next several decades.
Banks and governments always will come with a new scam and Ponzi where they will make sure to have the control over the money supply.
Bitcoin most exist and grow beside that fraudalent system! That it it's only chance.People must realize themselves that fiat currencies and the actual financial system only exists to oppress the majority of people.
With Bitcoin they have the possibility to choose!Something like that never existed before.

Yeah, that's the beauty of adaption, one of the reason why banks and government are still around after several century of establishment.  They always evolve into something that will fit in the current situation.  As you can see, the era of blockchain is here, so banks and government are already planning to absorb it with a changes that will only benefit them.

did you mean as a mainstream iternational currency? That won't be for a few years now, since that's not doing good in the behalf of the world banks, so i believe they'll be fightingagainst that as long as they can.

Need some spare btc for a new PC that can at least run Adobe Dreamweaver.

Yeah they are always doing that if they have thinking that they can make more benefits like bitcoin. i think they are planning about that it will be more corrupt if they alread stablish bitcoin someday.. for now we just happy that its still not happen..

As people are awarding of bitcoin & its potential. When we can see bitcoin as international currency? Huh

It is an international currency, although not well known worldwide.
I just hope Bitcoin makes known and has a high capital market, so the governments can not control the market. For now only it has a market capital of one billion dollars, which is a lot, but not much compared to the amount of money circulating in the world today, rather, is very insignificant. What is needed, is to come more investors.

I believe we won’t have to wait too long to see bitcoin in every corners of the world and the possibility that bitcoin will be used as international currency is very high.

However, there is one thing, the bitcoin’s price keeps fluctuating too fast and significantly so it’s a hard task for the government as well as the people to fully accept it and many people still think bitcoin as something illegal. So I hope things will get better.
