Trade 008: will sell 100 Uno for 0.223 Btc.

EDIT: I've lowered the price on my sell-bid on Bittrex, and got a little Btc back in buy-support on Cryptopia. This may soon bring another 100 onto D L Ex -- back we're still treading water, so to speak: there's a good deal of Uno for sale on Page One of Bittrex.

Both price and volume up a tiny bit, so our 'bench depth' is up a tiny bit.

I just happened to stumble across this thread, and I'm a little confused. How does the D-L-Ex work, and what currencies are traded there?

Morning, Munti. In theory, we trade all cryptos*, though at present we are focussed on Unobtanium (and Doge?) -- D L Ex is a a descendant of https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=757232.0

Now, as you are a newcomer (welcome!), we'll ask you to send first in a Trade. Later, it won't matter.

D L Ex is also the only site on Bitcointalk where you won't have to put up with loud-mouthed ninnies. We're all cool-headed long-timers, and I'd censor the thread if we had difficulties. (We did on Un-Ex -- a long story.)

Finally, we -- 'IndiaMikeZulu' and some Uno folk -- have big ideas involving bullion and P2P etc.

Mark

* So, how does it work? D L Ex is a trust-alliance, and we trade on that basis.

I'm really getting curious now. Why not use an exchange? What is the experiment here? What are you trying to do?
100 pages in the old thread is a little much to read. Especially when its old and possibly outdated.

It's both politics, Munti, and a perspective on how Unobtanium should 'work.'

We're libertarians. We want cryptos used as currencies, by ordinary people, as an alternative to banks. But we've watched automated exchanges become the pivot, which has kept cryptos in the 'immature speculative-trading phase.'

Now, I'll be back tomorrow morning -- gotta go do a thing with a neighbour -- and will continue explaining.

EDIT:

I guess that all the guys from Uno and elsewhere, who will be trading here later, also trade on a range of automated exchanges – I do.
But in the long-term, Munti, we are building a trust-alliance oriented to much much more: ‘coin-wholesaling’/merchant-network development, international P2P meetups, local meetups to trade bullion for cryptos, theoretical discussions, etc. If this sounds far-fetched, we’ve actually being doing stuff like this, here in Australia, for well over three years.

You're saying there are actually a few people left in crypto that are motivated by more than just profit? How refreshing.
So the trust based trading is just as much a tool in building a trust network as it is a way to trade?

Now you post 'Trade for Munti: i will pay 0.038 Btc for 100,000 Doge -- accepted.' Then post a Btc address in your signature (or PM). (I'll pop back in later.)

Trade 008: will sell 100 Uno for 0.223 Btc.

Morning! 'Trade for Munti' is open (for Munti) Otherwise, I suppose I'm waiting to see how Uno price trends in coming days. (I have about 300 that owe me between .0023 and .0026.)

Thanks for inviting me, Mark. Had not known you opened up again, and glad to see it.

I will get involved here soon, how do you get me added to the trusted trader list?

Morning, RD! Note first that I/we are sorta 'treading water' while we see how Uno's price fares mid-term/post-Cryptsy-coin dump. Secondly, well, you and I can do a couple of namby-pamby trades: that is, I don't recall how you came not to be a TT, but I sure do understand that you're an Uno-community member of fine standing.
