If there is enough interest in ordering a 5th unit, then I am Ok with that. The only reason why I stopped accepting deposits is because I did not think wed get enough BTC to get another.

We have about 20 BTC in group funds. Please reply ITT if you are interested in investing in one more unit. If the 20 BTC + peoples replies here is close to 75 BTC, I will start accepting more deposits this evening.

Now.. back to work Wink

Bernie madoff used this tactic too. Act like the scheme is closed, then suddenly "oh, you're in luck, it's re-opened right now just for you, now send all your money"

I can't imagine those refunds you talked about are going out any time soon now, i'm somehow not surprised.

He has sent alot of personal identification to various investors and has been checked out... I have.

Would need quite a set of brass balls to screw over this many people in this community...  it's not that much money to do that.
Def a lower risk for me than buying a bfl rig or any asic.

Hey CH, are you going to start a blog or something easy to keep us updated?  Hope so... half of the point of me investing is trickle profits, and the other half is a cheap way to join in on the asic fun/drama/excitement and having a reason to follow it.

Cheers!  thanks again.

Frankie, you are the one who is playing out of bounds here.

You can check that he did send refunds.  The addresses of his investors is posted.  For you to make these derogatory posts that disagree with the documentation is improper.  One of the interesting things about Bitcoin is that the books are open for view to anyone in the world.

You may easily see the transaction that refunded my money.  The transactions have a time stamp and you can match it up with the postings in this thread.

I try to be respectful and informed.

As the person who initially started the "trolling", I would like to apologize because it's gotten out of hand. I think coinhoarder has good intentions and in my post, my aim was not to call him a scammer. My issue arose when I started seeing all these newbies making threads offering the same service. This isn't a 100% thing, be careful with your BTC. Don't think that the bitcoin police are going to recover lost funds because of a nicely formatted thread. Coinhoarder has proved himself to be legit so far but my initial turnoff was his name. There have been so many users that went AWOL and their name was indicative of their habits. Just sayin.

OP - I do not have any more BTC, but I can offer to send you USD if you can convert it to BTC, I would like to get into your pool as well. If one of the motive was to divide the risk, and you have more BTC, then you can take up my offer.

If I buy in for 25 BTC, can I take one of the hashing modules instead of dividends?

I'm already in for 12.5 BTC.  I'll go in for another ~12.5 or so if I can do this.

I didn't see this thread until the offer was already closed. Might be interested in contributing 1 or 2 bitcoins if you reopen. Heck, my Jalapeño order is looking like a worse gamble at the moment. Tongue

Seems like we might have enough interest afterall then.

Although there are only 18 units left in stock, I hope coinhoarder is about soon!

I think that puts us very close to the threshold for the 5th unit!

CH mentioned that there might be around 20BTC in group funds already mentioned to him/

That 20

15 from me
27.4965 from spinner
12.5 from bogart
1 or 2 from foo

75.99 if we get 1 from foo and 76.99 if we get 2 Wink

There are 17 16 units remaining on the avalon site

Apologies but I dont think coinhoarder will be back in time to get all of the transactions in from us and get the order fulfilled.

I have a chance with another group, what do you all think I should do?

14 units left

EDIT: Sorry all but im probably going with the other group, I really wanted to be a part of this one but the time is not with us.

If any spots open up from initial investor then please keep me in mind and I will consider "buying you out"

I'd participate with 25 BTC or more to get the next engine running.
