Hello everyone!
I am not dead yet, here is a short development update:

The SegWit integration is progressing. Veltor is build on a older BTC base.
To not get overwhelmed with the jump to the current 0.13 version, I am currently upgrading to 0.12.
Ones that runs in a stable manner, I'll work towards upgrading to 0.13. At this point we will start conquering new land.
Land a man has never set a foot on before. Being one step ahead of BTC. I'll finish the missing soft fork consensus code to actually activate SegWit, and thats when things are getting exciting.

Furthermore, I have been exploring block size increase consensus theories. I am working on a balanced voting system, where miners vote with their hash power and network participants vote with their coins. Ones consensus is met, block size is being increased. (And there are a few more special scenarios in there, mechanics that allow temporary higher block size to cope with the LN failure mode.)
A white paper for the above is in the works.

IMPORTANT: There are a few pools available. Veltor is centralised on one single pool right now. This is a unnecessary network weakness.
Please spread across the other pools:

Some help at Zpool.ca would be nice. I have been trying to mine there from time to time but never get any help. Anyone squeamish about the coin can mine at Zpool and take a different coin for payment if they just want to test mine. If it proves profitable you can then switch to a veltor payout.

It's your opinion and it's your choice to not mine this coin... the future will give me or will give you reason... meanwhile I prefer to bet for this coin... you don't want to mine?... fine... you can enjoy with other project... the time will decide the question.
