With the current network hashrate and difficulty Pascal is in need of a mining pool and soon. Someone with the knowledge and expertise please try and create one so we can keep continued interest in mining Pascal.

Maybe we can raise pacal for a mining pool done by ocminer with the help of toto?

Sorry, I'm not into mining. Trading is more fun!

Being coded in Pascal means that is has years of experience withing development environments, meaning that it is malleable and also a secure programming language.

Ive no respect to Pascal and can punch u anytime u tell anybody it goes up or down because of the superiority of the underlying coding language. Dedicate urself to making the coin - not the language - useful, no need to applaud the work of others etc pascal geeks and inventors.

Since Pascal coin is a complete rewrite and it's own unique implementation of a block chain and proof of work I'd wager to say that despite the Pascal language being old - that's what I played with in school back in the day, the wallet and account system gives Pascal coin it's value. Not being yet another BTC QT clone is just icing on the cake  Cool

Rewrite does not mean anything good. You can rewrite bitcoin in BASIC, does it help any bit? Pascal IS a dying language, despite efforts with things like Object Pascal etc etc. Just look at the fact, in today's internet world, who the hell will use Pascal except a few nostalgic people? People will use Java, Scala, Go, Ruby, etc to write new programs - and this is for a good reason. People are not stupid.

Write a program with Pascal is fine. To say it is great simply makes me laugh  Grin

Yes it does because it means other talented programmers can get involved.

How much hashrate for AMD GPUs - RX 480, 470 on mining Pascal Coin? Hopefully we have a mining hardware comparison to refer to or anyone mind to share their hashrates.

And also we need pool really soon, to give small miners a fair chance.

IMHO, this coin is a novelty. Besides being written in Pascal, more important are the innovative features of this coin.

No pool please. Whenever a pool is launched the coins quickly turn to shit with mega farms mining and dumping. The difficulty right now is not that high enough to need a pool. Average diff is 50,000MH/s so you can mine many coins a day with a rig or two.

I have pmed ocminer to make a pool as ask the costs of this. Maybe it is a good idea. Maybe it is a bad one but it allows more actors to get involved let me know your thoughts.
