@tlaskows
I use an old Intel© Core™2 Quad CPU    Q8300  @ 2.50GHz × 4

That's still a reliable and top of the line CPU if you use and older no longer availble OS

Like Linux.

I have Kali Light on mine.  It is beyond fast for anything.

Off topic*

I flashed my Tegra TX1 Dev Board last night.

Super slow when running AI accelerated L4T.

SoC *Apple provides no information regarding the iPhone 3GS processor, simply that it is a "closed system", but it is believed to use an ARM Cortex A8 running at 600 MHz (downclocked from 800 MHz). For graphics, it uses a PowerVR SGX graphics processor.

I know I am still confused if I paid for the apple or the Samsung/NEC  Huh

Thank you.  Runs fine on Chromium OS.
One thing.  The miner binary is not included by default.  I do need to compile from source for that "feature".  Is that correct?

On block number 377666 (according the the wallet vresion I have intalled), but I think my computer is not on time (I got few red warnings in the messages tab).

Could it be that my local blockchain is out of sync and how would I fix that?

Thanks,

~ Tom

I think that the price of this coin was kept solely by trading on Poloniex.
After delisting, the chance of getting attention with an outdated POW mining concept is close to zero.

Of course, the delisting sent the value of PASC down. Almost all trading took place via Poloniex. Fortunately, several new exchanger have now listed PAS.

I wonder if you can prove any relation between consensus method and market value. BTW the Random hash is not an outdated PoW algo.

Any mining involving video cards, Asic chips or combined processor cores is POW model.
The POW system is subject to frequent forks especially when the price of mining does exceed the value of the coin.
This seems to have happened many times with Pascal Coin.

PascalCoin has forked a few times to implement new features like Atomic Swap etc. and to switch to an algo more favorable for CPU mining.

Please, fix your algo/blockchain and ban private fpga/botnet miners - ~70% of blocks by unknown finder.

2 blocks found so far.

How does PROP reward system work?

I have heard od ppn?  Whole block would go to or be split between compeeting miners.

Is that the same thing?

Thanks.

All 4 of my old "mining" computers got kicked off.

I noticed that the port has changed.  I used RHminer for close to 24 hours.

Are those shares gone?

@polyminer1

v2.1b was released around 4 days ago?

For some reason after running RH miner 2.1 for close to a week, no payouts to a local wallet.

Is that the version I should be using?

OS:  4 PCs with Kali Linux.

BTW.  Compiling from source still hard.  I did follow the directions many times and could never get a binary.

Thanks.

Hello @tlaskows , There were some problems that are now resolved. Pool fee was removed now is 0%.
PROP payment system or Proportional. A proportional pool carries no risk to the pool operator as miners are simply paid out when a block is found. No blocks, no payout! With a Prop pool the risk is all on the miners if it takes longer than expected to find a block then the miners earn less. On the flip side, if the pool is lucky (they will all average out the same eventually) the miners get more. This is in complete contrast to the PPS pool where there is no “Variance”.
