Bitcoin has no competition

If we look at the price and value bitcoin certainly doesn't have any competition from any other cryptocurrency. If we look at popularity bitcoin again has no competition. The number of people who have been bitcoin's supporters is increasing daily so in my opinion bitcoin certainly has no competition. Whenever we talk about cryptocurrency the only thought which comes to our minds is that of bitcoin and no other coin. Even the people who are not into cryptocurrency as much as we are have heard about bitcoin but not about other coins so bitcoin has no potential competitor.

There's no competition because ever since bitcoin was created it was not overtake buy other legitimate altcoins on it's regular price. Bitcoin so far is very promising as we can witness with a great price increase and what I notice, the moment it increases the price of most altcoins decreases, so probably it is very dominant currency in the crypto world.

It's more like gold than USD in it's characteristics. Bitcoin acts as an unregulated and non government issued digital gold that the rest of crypto currencies gravitate around. This is why it's very important that the block size remains conservative so the network can remain decentralized enough. Now I just hope that we get segwit as soon as possible to keep innovating.

i do not see why bitcoin needs the conservative block size? why would this help to decentralize bitcoin? and why would this be the reason for the altcoins to not become an alternative/competition?

At the moment, most coins, in the cryptocurrency market, are a great disappointment. One of the reasons is that they do not bring significant changes with regard to Bitcoin, something that will actually make a difference for the user. There are some exceptions, as you said, because there are some coins with significant improvements, but in general they are changes that can be implemented in Bitcoin.

There are some currencies which are claiming that they are competing bitcoin and so are trying to take place of bitcoin and redirecting some people to their coin but they are at wrong as it is right that bitcoin do not have any competent and have no competition it will be the best forever.

Yess you are right that bitcoin has no competition at all .there might be possible that some currencies might have value more than bitcoins but that would be a very short period of time .and here bitcoins if given a hard fork would increase to such a extend people would habe hard time believing it and every single person in this world woupd be possesing bitcoins or the other.

Your mining argument makes sense, but your price doesn't. Mining is now no longer for amateurs and it is best left to professional farms.
As far as the price is concerned, people shouldn't find it difficult to buy bitcoins, because bitcoin is divisible into infinitesimal parts. People should just buy satoshis if they can't buy bitcoins.

No doubt that other cryptocurrencies have the same benefits like Bitcoin, some even better. However, the original crypto is Bitcoin and it have only appeared on this planet for 8 years. 8 years is still a short time for peope to really its benefits. People still learn about it and they usually do not care about other cryptos. It is a big mistake. Yes, bitcoin's solidity can not be destroy by just any altcoins that is already in the market or will be just in the market. Bitcoin's impact to people is really hard that is why until now we appreciate and love bitcoin. No matter what happens in bitcoin, even if its price go down and up, still we are supporting and using it because we all know that bitcoin is the one worth waiting for. Maybe not now is the right time bitcoin will give something to us big but who knows maybe the next year on next bitcoin would make us all millionaires.

Most altcoins are worth barely anything. They are not even close to a threat for Bitcoin. Although I think that ethereum is slowly making its way up in the ladder, but it still has a long way to go if it ever wants to overtake Bitcoin.

I guess, there is a point on your opinion yet in case of bitcoin ,the altcoins or other crypto currencies are not competitors of bitcoin yet
it is its strength.

I don't think they are bitcoins strength, they may have given a demand to bitcoin but that is just in short time, because bitcoin invested on that altcoin will then be converted into fiat making it nullify the previous demand.  The worst is that majority of this altcoin (not all) give bad names to cryptocurrency industry because of the developer who just created the coin to scam people.  And it has a great effect on bitcoin.  Other cryptocurrency even declares that their goal is to surpass bitcoin which kinda funny but have sense lol (kinda ambitious).  So I don't see altcoins as bitcoins strength.

It's great to think that bitcoin is having competition since most development team are coming up with ideas in which bitcoin could use or adapt sooner or later in the future for the betterment of the system. Also, even if other coins contains other functionalities that bitcoin lacks, still people would value bitcoin more than other alts because these alts are just improvised version of bitcoin, and bitcoin already has a solid-rock foundation and it's hard to compete tbh.

I partially agree with you. Bitcoin seems to have no competition right now and people who said that bitcoin will fail in the coming years have been proved wrong. But in a really rare case if something does happen to bitcoin then I am sure another cryptocurrency will take over. For right now invest in Bitcoin and make profit

Yes, Bank will make his own crypto. The serious competitors for bitcoin will come soon.

Like the early time of Zcash a lot of the people have said the end of bitcoin has come. A new alt with new innovation such being the threat of bitcoin also. Even the people was saying if the ALT was the copycats but totally it can be threatening for bitcoin.
