The premise is faulty, as we operate on ETH which is the fork that didn't agree on the "code is law" principle. He makes good points, of course, but ETC pushed for code=law, so the title is a bit out of place. IMO. |

It is not out of place because the next time you will have money locked in a smart contract and someone will find a way to execute a valid transaction that takes that money out, you will have another DAO bailout fork and another community split. We can argue whether it was a bailout fork or not, but the fact is that the community is no longer united and that is bad, and it shouldn't happen again. |
