Only sort of.  ICN is not what they're trying to drive fiat into.  They want fiat pumping into the funds themselves - ICNX, Iconomi Performance, and other OFM created funds.  This has nothing to do with people buying ICN.

Can someone explain ICONOMI to me?  I understand it's kinda like a hedge fund for crypto but what does the coin (ICN) have to do with it?

So I read all the facts carefully and I believe I understand is mostly now.  The ICN coins is shares in the ICONOMI product its self.  So when dividends are paid out (in Ethereum) it's being paid based on how the funds are doing.  Buying the ICN coin is different then buying into the ICONOMI.PERFORMANCE which is a diversified fund that is in it's self not a crypto but an actual share that will be traded on real exchanges?  So by buying ICN now I am buying into the possibility ICONOMI will succeed?

And later once ICONOMI.PERFORMANCE launches would it be more profitable to hold my ICN coin or to invest in the fund it's self?

Having ICN pair d with fiat lik eur and usd can really be a huge help in makig its value togo more than 0.40$. if it can happen earlier in 2017, we'll end the year 10x richer. But while its cheaper though, its always the best time to gather more  ICN.

I'm thinking of liquidating my other crypto holdings (xcp, lsk, and eth) and going all in with Iconomi. It's not that I don't see the value or potential in the other crypto projects I just think that ICN will increase its position much faster and with a larger reward. Has anyone else done this with their holdings?

I did, just to be sure I was in a large enough position now before more good news. I'll be building up other positions again though, starting with ETH.

well. if Karaken start an ICN/Eur or ICN/Usd market it will be a good think for Iconomi it self. but it won't give support to crypto users. crypto users usually like to trade altcoins with bitcoins..

Traders can still trade with ICN / BTC just add variety if it does happen I'm sure  ICN price will be raised higher

No one knows, kraken is big though, NO.12 market cap. I think because there is legal risk, so bittrex and polo do not list ICN

The team decided to hide under NDA, and has been keeping quite on the issue. Someone like me can't trade on kraken and the volume of liqui is very low

yes, it is possible I think . you can send him request through support tickets and they'll read your request. now that is up to them that the'll accept that or not.

Adding ICN/FIAT would be good thing i think. Because for newcomers its gonna be easier to buy crypto/fiat pair then first buy something else and then ICN. With more people in crypto there will be more volume
