For iconomi to fail, crypto has to fail. Iconomi has landed an amazing position right now. They have the assets and connections as well as the vision and team to ride the boom of Bitcoin and blockchain tech worldwide 2017. They are directly linked to overall profitability hand in hand. Iconomi right now is the best and easiest option for the average joe who knows nothing about Bitcoin or crypto in general to invest directly, easily and efficiently. Of course nobody can predict the future but theoretically if you are betting that Bitcoin and crypto are here to stay, especially the top 10 cryptos pretty much, iconomi will not only overall help them, iconomi can be responsible for majority of fiat flowing into crypto and theoretically be the #1 market cap. The sky really is the limit. However you play a short term or long term trading strategy is a different subject.
Exactly! This is why I'm so excited for this project. I think the thing that gets me excited the most is their vision. I'm a strong believer in crypto. I believe that we will experience an incredible boom just like the Internet. To me, when the Internet came out, it was messy and hard to navigate. Then Google came along and everything changed. I think Iconomi is the Google of the cryptoworld. If they release a quality product (it's reasonable with the resources they have) and lets say we hit 50k users in 2017, this will be a massive game changer. Hold your coins, cause 10% profit is only for day traders...
Wait for a fucking long term and get 10× profit or maybe in a bad circunstances a +150%

Poloniex will add icn when they have a lot of icn tokens...
Bittrex is the most mercenary exchange... If you need icn there, pay the fucking fee to this.

Will the launch announcement be this month? When will Kraken position itself on the dividend or is it settled? Depending on what happens I'll quickly withdraw my ICN Kraken.
Kraken never confirmed they will pay dividends. They are an exchange, not an online wallet services. |

You shouldn't be having a dig at day traders, it all depends on your trading strategy, you can compound your profit when day trading and be able to achieve more than 10X profit you are projecting if you are a day trader. I can't trade on Kraken and it is frustrating. Lack of volume on Liqui is killing people who are not eligible to trade on Kraken and the spread is huge. I hope ICONOMI developers will look towards this direction and get ICN on other big exchanges |

one question for those that are looking closely to incx. so we have btc constant rise and now it looks eth is on a rise too. but btc sooner or later will hit a top of the rise and then it will consolidate. is icnx flexible enough to absorbe that future btc fall with other coins' rise in order not to see too great fall of value in the index?

You can either trade them and get BTC instead or you can hold them and receive dividends in ETH on a weekly basis . (note that they didn't start to give dividends yet and It could take sometime but the potentials are big in this project) I recommend holding personally. Besides , If the price continue to increase and dividends are good , the price of the ICNs will be bigger then ever and you could sell later to make a bigger profit instead of selling now. |

When btc drops alts go up. yes i know but share of btc in the index is quite big + do you think alt rise can compensate for btc drop 1:1? BTC is only 15%, so the rest of the components should compensate pretty good, unless BTC drops significantly which is rather unlikely imo. |

I guess the FAQ include all these details. In order to receive the dividends , you should either hold them at the ICO website or on an ethereum wallet (myetherwallet.com supports ICN by default) that gives you control over your private keys. In other words , simply don't store them in exchanges as you don't control the keys there and you shouldn't do anything, the iconomi team do all the work , you just sit back and enjoy your weekly dividends. |
