Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

I'd say change it to the minimum amount needed to cover the NRE costs that are not yet covered, considering the current USD/BTC price.

Only speculators benefit from higher prices, the important is for the NRE to be paid asap.

Sorry just waking up from a long night of celebration, haven't caught up yet so if this has been answered I apologize.  What is the reasoning and/or strategy with reducing the wall now?

Doh!  Grin

Non-recurring engineering (NRE) refers to the one-time cost to research, develop, design and test a new product.

I think Ken should remove 0.0025 btc road block,  rather spread that many shares at different price levels  Huh

Actually, they should lock down the trading entirely so you can buy ONLY buy shares form issuer at fixed price - 0.0025. And nothing else.
Why? Because trades between  speculators below IPO price add exactly ZERO btc to Co's purse or to be more precise, to your purse, dear share holder.
Allowing secondary trading while IPO is still in progress is kinda retarded. It undermines issuer and guess what... you, who hold the shares in the Co.

IPO has one goal, raise coin for the Co so it can build the business promised to shareholders (new and old). What happens after the IPO with the share price, is somewhat irrelevant to Co at this point of time.

Yes but this is a unique situation which Ken has created as a direct response to shareholder requests and has been formulated with the AMC community onboard. It would not be helpful for Ken to freeze transactions below IPO and shareholders would rightly object. The company has value we will be past IPO levels very soon.

Hey there,
since I got no answer to my PM and E-mail, I'll try it in this thread.

Transfered my AMC shares on BitFunder to AMC-TENDER on the 9th! Still nothing...
I hope everything went well and it's only a small delay. Would be nice if this could be resolved (what about the divs I missed, because of this?).

Thanks in advance

I wanna ask what is the exactly the difference between ActiveMining shares and AMC shares at Bitfunder, and what is going to heppan with AMC shares. Witch ones should i buy and keep. To me it looks like dividents are just going to be split to AMC + activemining shares now. Be as clear as possible please since i'm completely clueless. Ty in advance.

I don't know how often dividends will be, but if it is weekly then this is better than AsicMiner which was .5% while AMC was .7%

Is it true anyone can buy AMC at .0025 until the end of July and transfer to ActM for free?

You can ( as of this minute) buy Active Mining shares on Bitfunder at .00249 and then no need to transfer.
