Whitelist Requests (Want out of here?)

Dear mods, can I be whitelisted please? I am trying to participate in several discussions, but I am constantly beeing nagged by the 'you have posted 360 secs ago' thing. Even when my last post was 10 minutes ago (22:09 in my timezone, tried to post again 22:19). I am not a spammer or a scammer (although I realise that everybody will state that), I am just trying to participate in this community

I'm a good personal friend of user mitty (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=72166). He suggested a number of users on the forum would be interested in a retroactive bitcoin miner (input a start date, end date and hashrate and the calculator gives an approximate amount of bitcoins mined). I wrote such a calculator and would like to create a thread for it in the main forum to share the link and get some feedback/suggestions.

I am sure there is a reason for this that makes sense to someone, but not me.  I have spent quite a long time here reading while logged in; I occasionally tried to interact, and got stymied by this bizarre " you can't post " thing.  OK, so fine, I just go away.

You might consider that by blindly refusing posts with no explanation as to why, and leaving people to figure it out for themselves with zero guidance, is not the best way to foster community.  The only reason I'm bothering at this point is because I want to buy something from someone, so it was enough to overcome the inertia.

I'm quite certain this is the 5000th message about this same topic.

Most whitelist requests aren't necessary now.  All it takes to move up is 1 post and 4 hours elapsed since that post.  Please PM a moderator if you have an urgent reason for being whitelisted.




If you have a need to be allowed into the forum beyond before you have completed the required 5 posts and 4 hours logged in, please post your request here. You must provide evidence that shows that you either understand more about Bitcoin than the average newbie, or that what you want to post can only be done in another forum. Reasons such as "I'm not a spammer" will be ignored. Try to be as specific as possible.

If you learned of Bitcoin through a currently established member of this forum who feels that you are ready to be released to the rest of the forum or who is willing to mentor you, or if you want to make a new account that is separate from your already-existing established forum account, have the existing user/account vouch for you after you have made your request.

If you are asking to be whitelisted because you are having a problem with something, we generally look more favorably on people who have already attempted to solve their issue in the Newbie board. Even if you end up not qualifying for preemptive whitelisting, your post might still qualify for being moved to another board if you have received insufficient help after a few hours.

Also:
- You must have made one post in order to send PMs.
- You need 10 posts to put a link in your signature.

Please note: If you see "Jr. Member" by your name, you have already met the 5 posts and 4 hour requirements and don't need to post here. Additionally, after you meet the requirements, it can take up to 10 minutes for your account to be automatically upgraded.

Hello, I'd like to be whilelisted. I'm trying to make a post on the marketplace to purchase some shares of a Neptune miner, I have my own mining rig at home. I know I bitcoin works and would find very helpful to be able to purchase the shares ASAP, as difficulty is only set to increase. The sooner the better!

would like to add the following comment to https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=259649.5540, joined specifically, but cannot due to rules, so could someone "echo" the below in that thread:

the chart showing the flatline, listed on page 275 by dre_2ooo:

the "flatline image" actually shows 2 flatlines: if you look at the beginning of tue jan 07 there is a smaller flatline, and notice afterwards the "jump" back up - when the stats server catches up. what this looks like is the same, only been longer so has been "noticed" this time. stop panicing! this probably happens alot, just in smaller bumps.

caveat: not affiliated with in anyway, but do mine there
