I don't know Much about butcoin security. but I know a few thing that bitcoin wasn't got any major security breach until this time. And bitcoin is still appear it self being a strongest crypto currency. That's one of the reason why I love bitcoin. Is someone can steal bitcoin in wallet?

Did not trust the Internet and wallets better to keep on your desktop. Maybe passwords need to be changed constantly, because guess the password is not so easy but still possible.

Very strong, but if your password is weak and someone is on your PC they may be able to crack the password. More likely a malware will sniff your keystrokes and steal your coins.
The wallet is strong, most of the time the computing environment is not.
Look into hardware wallets asap.

2) How strong is the Bitcoin network?
Most certainly one of the strongest chains out there, although ASIC/China mining centralisation is worrying.

3) How strong is the Bitcoin network effect?
Network effect is the social effect, the popularity of a coin.
This one is very strong, even coins that are far more advanced pale in comparison to Bitcoins network effect.

If you change the password constantly, you need to keep a good record of that. If you forget, you will lose money.

Your friend's argument fails at where he said he could calculate bets. In betting, you could do fine research and base a good guess on it, but you can't be sure. You also may be able to tell some information about a wallet or transaction that helps you get user access to it, but you won't be able to "crack" the bitcoins from it.

Hack purse is very difficult especially if you frequently change passwords. We need constant access to the purse. If the purse is on a flash drive or on the application, it is even more difficult. Although it is still possible there. But it must be a very interesting person to draw so much attention.

It won't be easy to bitcoin network and to develop that technology I think it will take long time, I have heard somewhere that with quantum computing you can hack bitcoin network but to that happen it will take more then 20 years.

About the mining. The thing why I find this bothering because miners are mining for their own interest. It just happened that way for being more cost effective for them nowadays. It would wonder where all those hashes would move when they quit mining

I will agree that bitcoin is best way to hold the money with us to stop the thief to loot our money. Online wallet can be scratch our money from our wallet by scammers to avoid that bitcoin can be put in the desktop wallet or in paper wallet.
