I would believe if your friend told you that bitcoin can be hack, but to hack the bets in gambling sites by just a calculator? I think that is impossible. There a lot of codes that is being generated by the code generator that changes the winning pattern on every gambling site, so the possibility that your friend that can hack the bets on bitcoin casinos are only 0.00000001 percent.
Yes, since bitcoins is a digigal money stored on a digital money, bitcoins can be hacked anytime. Bitcoins already influence many people so i think bitcoins is strong now like a paper money. Although the government still have no right on bitcoins, bitcoins is already strong to manipulate virtual world. Bitcoins is very useful nowadays ao i think bitcoins is strong enough to compare with paper money. Bitcoin has achieved a lot and from some kind experiment came to digital currency that is almost equal to paper money. It's not so strong like fiat but it's on the good way to become. Even some governments are aware thea Bitcoin has become an inevitable fact on the financial market so they are trying to grab some use out of it. But Bitcoin stil has battles to fight to get equal place like fiat money. |

Nothing to worry about, it will require lots of computer power/super computers lots of years to get private key of one single bitcoin address. in fact there are so much expert and skillful people who are really done the mob in seconds, so i think the security must be more tight and the bitcoin address must be turn as more secure by developing the security system more and more and only then people will like to invest their big bitcoin, otherwise no one be ready to invest their assets in bitcoins. |

In hacking movies like 'No system is safe' and TV series like 'Mr. Robot', the people have always been the weakness of any secured company. They do social engineering and it's no wonder why even in the bitcoin network, people are still the weak part. I think the reason for this is because humans are the ones controlling the whole thing, they are the one monitoring it. So if you could deceive the user, then you can take over his account. Anyway, it's kind of easy to avoid this by yourself by having a 2FA on your account. But then again if there's a keylogger or virus on your computer, then you're always doomed to be hacked. I'm using malwarebytes to scan viruses and so far it's all good. |

The reality is completely different from the films that we all of us see. If there was such a case after 7 years about the creation of bitcoin their enemies will had discovered it. Also, if your friend has hacking capabilities is much easier to compromise a computer hoping that he will find a file where someone has back up the password or the passphrase of the wallet.

I don't think that bitcoin is strong enough as currency. All this online exchangers and wallets are not protected with 100% guarantee, well as any other exchanges and wallets. But among other crypto currencies bitcoin is strong obviously.

We know that bitcoin is strong and all the wallets have milletry grade security but one of my stupid friend today said that maybe someone can hack it with just a calculater because with math and correct formulas we can even predict gambling bets if that is possible then maybe there is any chance of this
Well, blockchain definitely can not be hacked with just a calculator (in the real meaning) lol  . Bitcoin has great security but we have seen some exchanges got hacked which affected bitcoin price to fall down. I believe nothing could save in online network as it connected to every corner of the world and some people could get into your PC and stole your information, but at least we have some security settings that makes it more secure, we hope. |
