It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

How you can say that bitcoin is not too strong? bitcoin is still strong and its more stronger than before because more adoption are already happen and more adoption will come so i will say that it is better to believe and invest in bitcoin so that you can make more profit even you are just holding your bitcoin in your wallet.. because this coming months we will see more price increase for bitcoin..

We know that bitcoin is strong and all the wallets have milletry grade security but one of my stupid friend today said that maybe someone can hack it with just a calculater because with math and correct formulas we can even predict gambling bets if that is possible then maybe there is any chance of this
why dont you ask your friend to show you how it is done.If it could be hacked with calculator then it had been hacked many a times and there were no wallets or even bitcoin

I’m not ready to agree that bitcoin is totally unhackable and no one on this planet can’t hack it because there some cases that some hackers has really hacked some online casinos but I also think that your friend is daydreaming since how can anybody predict gambling bets, and if they do, those games won’t last that long along with bitcoin. And bitcoin has gone through over 7 years without getting any serious and destructive hack.

Is he drunk when you talked to him? That man is surely in his dreams while talking to you or maybe in drugs. With a calculator eh? Is that a joke or something? If he he can talk like that thrn the proof should be that he is rich now.

bitcoin so easily cant be hacked , it has full secured feature ,now lot of wallets come with different security measures. it may due to some web sites which are Ponzi etc will try to steal your information and after that they will try to hack , but not for bitcoin technology, keeping security measures is in our hands.

If your friend able to study  the betting formulas in casinos for 7 years then he may have a cute probability of getting the answers and able to hack it. Bitcoin is running for almost 7 years or more, if your friend defeat the betting he only defeated na casino not nitcoin itself

I think it's not true. bitcoin strength is very strong. No special encryption to open it. although nothing is ever hacked, it typically is the user's fault that stores passwords carelessly.

maybe your fried is not familiar with the concept of calculator or maybe he doesn't know what hack a bitcoin wallet means!

either way, you should have told him bitcoin survived from 2008-9 till now without being hacked the way he thinks and it will continue being OK until there is a big advancement in the quantum computers front.

To me, bitcoin is not hackable; however, the bitcoin network might be hackable. So the question should be "how strong is bitcoin network?"

And Bitcoin network is vulnerable like any other network so there is no such thing as 100% security. We all have to be aware of this.

i don't know what you two mean but i am only aware of these and i doubt we can exactly call any of them "hacks"
Hacking bitcoin can make false transaction or double spending. YOu can do it by having 51% hash power. Is possible to have such huge amount of power. Even a government can't do now. If a government can do may be the first is USA or China.

Security bitcoin still not up to me. Unlike banks that have insurance, bitcoin has no insurance so that if we lost the balance will not be there to be accountable. Bitcoin should improve security because I believe the hacker could still break into bitcoin balance us.

I am quite sure your friend is just stupid who is dreaming with open eyes to hack the bitcoin network. Think about it if it's possible than how bitcoin can survive for long time. The security of network is more than people think about it. That is really fun to read and person thinking to hack the bitcoin network with just a calculator.

Bitcoin is not only based on formula and calculation, hashing is the most important factor that makes bitcoin unhackable. Even to decode simple md5 hash is almost impossible, so bitcoin the technology used in bitcoin hashing is quite many fold stronger.

speculation is just speculation, speaking is easy but proving is another problem, well we can even say that hacking bitcoin can be done by using stone and few formulas but the action is almost impossible to be done and it will come to the conclusion that what he say is near to bullshit

Your friend is quite some dreamer if he can thinks that he can predict gambling bets. Of course he maybe right if he wants to hack the MD5 Hash of a single spin but casinos are bit forward of him. They only leave a seed of MD5 to verify for only a few minutes so no chances to hack such things. Bitcoin so far in its 7 years of life is not breached in security. All the cases of hacks and steals is because of user fault. So bitcoin is as strong as it can be.
hey mate sorry to intrupt but are you sure that bitcoin casinos are unhackable because on past years some casino really got hacked even primedice casino also been hacked and i am not saying that op is 100% corrent but he/she but he/she is just asking the dought
I dont think you know allot about the bitcoin if you are really give this answere to this guy because he is asking how strong the bitcoin is. And that can mean allot of things you know
there are allot of people who dont even know what to do with the bitcoin. But there are so many things to do with the bitcoin you cant imagine so he is really strong.
