The reason the main development team needs to involve itself in these first DAPPs is to kick off the Quintessence Neighborhood, and its economy; in order to create an environment where corporations will be interested to develop and create innovative services, an environment where it will be interesting to build, over the infrastructure we want to put in place.

Well, we are not a company with a huge budget. And if we were, we probably wouldn't need an ICO and we wouldn't let anyone in until it was complete; Quintessence is the essence of the opensource development: we are enthusiasts who want to push crypto ahead, using a state of the art infrastructure with a fair and ecological algorithm and in a way that is fair to everybody. We are here because we do not like what is done in other Crypto 2.0 tokens; if we liked the other crypto 2.0s then we would develop for them and Quintessence would not be needed.

It's also not about the money injected into promotion: we have tried PR Buzz articles submitted to big media crypto websites in the past, but the effect were lukewarm, at best. Look at what happened with Neucoin (NEU) - these guys invested thousands of dollars in promoting their upcoming coin last winter (with Google AdWords, among others) - and it still failed. What works is getting people onboard, plain and simple, enticing them with a strong, ambitious and exciting project. What we need is more people.

So far, our promoting effort is financed by regular folk's and families hard work outside the crypto arena; so we do whatever we have access to for free, or very cheap, to promote our ideas. If you search the internet with "Quintessence Token" you will find it in English, Spanish and Italian (Thanks Davide!) in many crypto forums.

Best and strongest promotion tools in my view are Bitcointalk, Reddit and CoinMarketCap. What we are hoping for is to create a strong and enthusiastic community which will go viral and bring in more and more ideas, along with more and more people. We need people to help us with Reddit, actually.

Please, by all means, if you have ideas and would like to participate in promoting Quintessence, contact me. Everyone with ideas who wants to participate and put in some effort is invited to step forward, and join a dynamic team.

As promised, here is the first part of the "and then, what?" articles describing Quintessence's long term vision, once the infrastructure is in place. Many coins and tokens come out ready-made but lacking a strong base, hoping that people will continue development using them and starting from scratch; Quintessence has a long term vision and wants to be showing businesses a fully-usable network to build on.

Spark.Connect is the social component of the Quintessence Neighborhood: Spark.Connect will run as a sidechain of the main SPK chain.

The entries made in this variable block length blockchain will be linked to optional personal data and it will allow some entries about each participant to be encrypted. It is the participant’s private key that will be used to decrypt whichever personal info is stored and encrypted in the Spark.Connect blockchain. Basically registering with Spark.Connect will be a necessary step for people to identify themselves in order to benefit from certain DAPP services that will be part of the Neighborhood. Participants can also be businesses or not-for-profit entities.

There will be 3 degrees of authentification, with varying levels of anonymity. This tool will be essential for more powerful services such as social network, SPK discussion forum, clean email, freelancing, lending, funding for development projects or non-profit funding and the like.

First degree - ID nick created with email verification; an entry is made in the blockchain with an internal Cryptographic ID; a semi-anonymous nick created to take part in the forums and low-trust or trustless DAPPS.

Second degree - includes first degree plus real life name, address, land phone or smartphone number with SMS code verification (untrusted phone carriers frequently used to bypass SMS verification will not be accepted). Getting this degree will open some features such as clean email.

Third degree - includes Second degree, plus postal address verification, social and trust rating - Third degree is gradually earned, and within Third degree certain services will require more trust than others, such as borrowing and crowdfunding.

Naturally, throughout the Spark.Connect network, privacy will be made easy to manage, where participants will have the option to decide who gets to see what about themselves.

If we successfully gather sufficient funding through this ongoing crowdfunding effort, this service will be developed by the Quintessence team, right after the basic infrastructure has been put in place, as it is essential to the next steps of Quintessence.  If enough funding is not secured then a new ICO might be considered for this project alone, as Spark.Connect will be a profitable DAPP. We want Spark.Connect to be accessible by services using other cryptocurrencies as well.

Just feel sorry for you that you dont have enough  courage to give this comment with your actual account and taking help from a Newbie account.

Up and down comes in the history of coin and CBX has been there for 3 years and still growing. It is one of the best Coin and the team involved with it is working hard to get things done in a right manner.

We have plans to tackle all sort of things which includes CBX low price and Spark ICO etc . Just Wait and See.

Just so you guys know, it will be possible to create Quintessence whether we get the whole 250 000 CBX, or not. What we have received in CBX already is enough to fund "Phase 1" of the ICO.

Invest your CBX with confidence, you will get Spark Token for your CBX, after the majority of contributors accept the new conditions (the new conditions will be laid out for you if we do not get those 250 000 CBX - mainly, the new conditions affect timing and future possible ICOs to complete the project).

Naturally these new conditions apply only if we do not get all 250 000 CBX, but it will be to our advantage to go ahead nonetheless.
