It depends on how old they are. Highschool students would probably get it the most. Some middle school students as well. I would say it's a type of peer to peer technology that is also a currency. That is the 30 second explanation. Now the 5-10 minute explanation would start to get technical about wallets, addresses and the prospect of mining.

I think that to teach a teenager to understand bitcoin is easier than to teach the older generation. Teenagers are those people who are just discovering the world, but behind them is our future with you. I think it is necessary to introduce lectures in colleges and universities about what bitcoin is and how it will affect their future destiny. By the time children are full members of society, bitcoin will be much more common in everyday life, and therefore it is simply necessary to educate adolescents in the modern financial sphere.

To explain bitcoin to teenagers or children is very important if we need to sustain the ideology and it is also very simple. children assimilate faster when they can visualize the subject matter, I think with the aid of videos, pictures and practical demonstration teenagers and children can understand what bitcoin is all about.

In My country I can say 98% children don't know bitcoin. In fact, bitcoin can be future money. If the children not familiar with cryptocurrency or bitcoin, how can they face the digital era in the future.
Actually we dont have to exaplain bitcoin to the children or to the teenager because their mind set it on being child or teen they dont know how to work this kind of job they must enjoy being children and teenager of that young age. They better go to school and study before they teach in bitcoin |

It will be hard to explain Bitcoin to young people. Not many of them are interested what's inside today's technology. They just want a simple tool that has a lot of useless features. Trying to explain Bitcoin to people who don't want to hear it, is a waste of time. I would teach about Bitcoin in schools with high level.

Yes I agree it is difficult to explain it to others, at first I face the difficulties in understanding the bitcoin. I have many questions when I entered here, for example is this true that you can earn here, how its work, where can you get that money, and etc. I think explaining it to the children is quite difficult because there minds are playing with there friends only. As a teenager I think it's not difficult for us to understand bitcoin because we want to have our own income.

It's an explanation that requires no foundation about the subject. In programming, you should be able to explain your codes in a way that everyone, even those who don't know how to code, will understand. I think bitcoin can be explained in layman's terms by having it relate to an actual wallet. After all, bitcoin wallet is the same sense with an actual wallet. Like an actual wallet, bitcoin wallet can store money and that money can be transferred to another person's wallet. If you pay for a burger, the money from your wallet is transferred to the burger seller's wallet. It's really simple to explain it like that but to get the kids to actually be using bitcoin, actually earning it, that's the hard part. Maybe not so difficult to explain for teenagers but for the children I think it takes time to let them understand how the bitcoin works. Use simple words not just to compare what you are today because not all children understand right on the spot of what are you talking about so I think we should be more patience. |

It's good to hear a suggestions to teach our children about bitcoin. I think the first thing to do is let them solve captcha after they accompished the offer. Give them Bitcoin wallet with payment, let it this be their savings. I know they will be curious about it and ask more of it. I think it will be a hard time for us to teach children, teenagers can be teachable, but children would still be playing outside and not to earn bitcoin, maybe parents can earn for them but don't use your children to earn bitcoin as well. Their age is no appropriate for me. |

Bitcoin with teenagers and children are difficult at first to explain, But if they will start young they will eventually develop an interest about bitcoin. Know I start to share with my nephews about bitcoin that in the future it will be the future currency. By starting young they will have an idea how our future currency will work. no its not, as long as you will give them the background about bitcoin its not that hard to explain bitcoin to teenagers or childres. since kids nowadays was too great when it comes to technology, maybe they surpass as about know things Yeah you are right no need to go for the deep clarification just hold your bitcoin band wait till the price of the bitcoin will be more attractive then tell them how you earned money even without spending anything so they will take interest and they will be able to get the high profit in the future so guide them through easy and the simple way. |

It's hard to explain about bitcoin to children or teenager, even i find it hard to understand about bitcoin and blockchain technology at first, but after slowly learning in this forum and some article now i understand it better. Explain to them that bitcoin is a digital money that will be used to buy things in the future.
It is actually not that much difficult to explain this concept of digital currency to the youngsters and teenagers. It all depends on the person who is telling them. You need to tell them very basics of bitcoin so that they only the fair idea of what bitcoin actually is. You can tell them complex things latter on when they’ll be mature enough to understand those things well. |

Compared to children teenagers are more mature so they can most likely be taught about bitcoin. Speak to them about the the fundamentals of bitcoin, as if you go to the advanced parts they will not understand anything. Make them realise it's a means of earning money rather than a quick shortcut . This way they will be a bit more serious when earning |

Yes it is difficult to explan about bitcoin to others especially to children , but it is a good idea of you sharing your knowledge abouy bitcoin but only in trusted people like family bestfriends etc. Becuase if you teach or explain about bitcoin to others believe me! They do not believe to you. |

well, i agree with you that it's quite diffiicult to explain Bitcoin. Here my country maximum number of people unkown to Bitcoin. We can explain bitcoin to teenagers through few question such as firstly we need to tell them what's bitcoin? how is it work? what should we do with bitcoin? as well as we can show them some video which related to bitcoin & we can find it from youtube. |

Well you can explain bitcoins with reference to gold or diamond or any valuable stones, like how we buy such valuable stones at a cerfain price and later trade as per the fluctuation. If prices fall we wait or ay be cash out if necesaary, and if prices rise we gain profit by selling/encashing them or may be keeping it for future and trading when prices go up higher. Bitcoins arent very difficult to understand, its just that children or for that matter even elderly's dont come across bitcoins or cryptocurrency in general in the first place. Hope that helps. |

A single can train that to their little ones effortlessly just by implementing appropriate self-discipline and knowing in using it.However, why do your youngsters have to learn bitcoin this early?Bitcoin is income and funds does not have to concern with little ones that early in their life. Children tend to have exciting, enjoy, examine in university. Not to generate bitcoins or some thing.If this is the time to genuinely instruct them how to use bitcoin, make positive that they understand what money is all about and have to be responsible enough for it.
