It is a better version than previous betas, but as always still be cautious, as this still might have unknown bugs. The SuperNET Team is YET testing this beta. Once we get the signal, this may go as the main release. But, until then, please be cautious using your funds with this pre-beta wallet.

This build comes with some bugs fixes and minor GUI improvements

 - Windows installer will not show any error unlike before and skip showing any error in case the MS packages are already installed.
 - Full Mode now shows a notification banner explaining what is Full Mode GUI doing and when to expect it to be usable in complete sync.
 - Send Transaction Form for EasyDEX Wallets fixed for errors like "wrong address or amount."
 - GUI structure of Send transaction is a bit changed in bundled EasyDEX-GUI
 - Auto refresh for Full mode wallet is fixed to update transaction history and balance. Earlier it wasn't updating transaction history automatically due to this bug.

Report (Windows):
All problems from 0.1.3 seem to be gone!
Transactions go through immediately (to cryptox.pl).
They are shown in the history.
After restarting Iguana, everything still works fine.

Suggestions:
Don't require to "Add Coin" on every restart.
Don't reload whole page when switching from "Wallet" tab to another and back.

Questions:
What ports should be open for Basilisk and Full?

so this is always the same shit shit and fuck whats happening nearly every ICO. A few days ago i wrote that it can´t be happen that KMD is going to exchange before all batches of KMD has been paid out because of fairness of trading. So far so good, i recieved my batch in time and the others should be able to deposit directly from the ICO site to exchange. Now yesterday the launch at cryptox was announced and what happened. The explorer got stuck so no more transfers were possible. I tried my transfer at 18:30 but after i got an error message and the waring in slack that other transfers got stuck i rejected. Now the price is down from 18000 sat to 13000sat without the possibility to trade.

This is not a claim against the project as itsself but that it isn´t possible to give EVERY investor the same fair chance to get the best out of its investment. I don´t wanna hear now people saying KMD is long term, you shouldn´t invest just to sell because its dumb rubbish. Everyone is free to do what he wants with his investment, because its his hard earned money (so in most cases ).

Again this could be a big project and maybe in a few month i would laugh about this prices but this is not the case. Fact is that you haven´t had the chance (expect a few lucky ones) to trade when you want it.

Trust me no-one understands this point of view more than me and I've made lots of complaints about unfair ICO head-starts. Such as in LSK and WAVES.

HOWEVER

I didn't experience any unfairness here. It was announced multiple times in multiple channels that you should enter your KMD address to get a batch payout before exchanges. Indeed multiple batches went out before exchanges for people who did this.

Despite being on Mac OS X and there not even being a workable client on launch offered (which is a real complaint btw) I didn't suffer too much. The client now works fine and I've been sending/receiving for the last 24 hours absolutely fine with limited technical knowledge and the occasional question on the Slack.

How to send your KMD to an exchange

- go to 'home' tab
- click 'use exsisting KMD address'
- input the deposit KMD address you got from an exchange
- Now that you have the correct KMD address you can proceed to the 'payout' tab
- Since you are using a 3rd party address you don't have the seed, and thus you will click 'skip'
- Follow instructions and confirm the withdrawal

Warning: make sure you are doing the withdrawal to a correct address! Once we send out the KMD there is no way to retrieve it.

How to send your KMD to your own KMD address

1) go to home page, click 'HOME'
2) If you don't have a seed generate a new one by clicking 'Reset Seed', follow the instructions
3) Double check your seed matches with the KMD address, click 'Check KMD address', follow the instructions
4) go to 'PAYOUT' tab
5) click 'Request payout'
6) type the seed, click 'confirm'
7) click 'send'
8 ) wait that we process the payout (check your KMD address from kpx.io)
9) after we have paid, you can open Iguana Desktop App
10) Select 'full mode' or 'basilisk mode' and insert your seed to the desktop app

Noobie question, komodo looks more ambitious and advanced than most other alt coins, is there a foundation running things like there is with ethereum? What governance procedures are in place?

afaik komodo does not have any foundation, jl777 is in charge of the tech, and notary nodes were recently elected. Governance and consensus are decentralized based on voting by coin holders.

Thats what i meant about fairness of trading, some (lucky) were able, some not. Thats why i figured this point out here:

@KomodoPlatform: As you stated yesterday the deposit will taken place in tranches, first tranche starting 31st January. So e.g. for me, who made a deposit to my wallet address, it is not certain when exactly i will recieve my KMD. I hope, beside other cases of ICOs, you will be so fair and wait for lunching KMD on exchanges till every KMD is deposited.

There is no difference in "not recieving KMD" in time or "recieving in Time" but not able to trade because withdrawals didn´t work.

Did you uninstall 0.1.3 first before installing 0.1.4?
And try to delete folder C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Iguana.
