Do I get my staking rewards if I will store my kmd on BarterDEX wallet? Or it is better to keep my coins on a separate wallet?

Keep your tokens in the agama wallet and redeem once a month. Hope that helps.

I'm only a holder of kmd and don't represent the team. I posted that because the team lacks any social skills. If we want komodo tech to become as mainstream as it has the potential to be, there needs to be a "talking head" that grabs the social media side by the balls. If this doesn't happen soon, you are going to see a mass exodus from komodo.
Yes, to claim what we call "komodo rewards" now, you need to claim every month instead of once a year.
There are a couple reason for this.
1. More transactions 2. This is my opinion, more coins hit the market helping raise the marketcap. 3. I was told that it helps the blockchain - don't know if this is true.
I would mentally take a note that the first of every month to redeem your komodo rewards.
I've spent weeks trying to stay out of all development, marketing, and pretty much all social media. I did so in an effort to reduce my stress levels from seeing the dumbest shit imaginable. It seems it was all rendered a vain fail because I read the above. - The team making a conscious choice not to market projects that are still in WiP status is not an indicator that the team "lacks any social skills"; in fact, the opposite is true. Imo, it speaks to a greater understanding of the human psyche to not advertize things while they are being worked on and in a state that may lead to "customer dissatisfaction" by those that are below a given knowledge level.
- Dumping a coin that had earned 55+% in the last 12 months because they don't advertise is stupid.
- Assuming that it would happen I, personally, welcome this "mass exodus" - I'd love to pick up a few thousand more KMD "on the cheap".
- Also, assuming it would happen, a "mass exodus" would just serve to show how many short sighted, not interested in profits, morons there are out there.
- What is the alleged "benefit" of "more transactions"?
- Market cap is only 1/2 tied to new coins. The market cap is 1/3 what it was 4 months ago; due, in no small part, to the fact that BTC is at 1/2 of what it was at that time. Cap is a silly notion to hang your financial future on, especially when it's not a direct evaluation.
- To be honest, if you really want to "help the blockchain", then you should never collect your interest and allow the miners to get bonus block rewards (which would increase profitability, which would bring more miners, which would increase the mining difficulty, which would create a more secure chain)
Collecting compound interest is good for us, but not for any of the reasons you alluded to; it's good for us be cause we profit (no more, no less).

The BarterDEX GUI is not meant to be used in the same manner as a traditional wallet. That being said, any coinage that is in a transparent address will accrue and collect interest for the private key holder (provided the UTXO has a set locktime), this includes any coins in your smartaddress. So, the short answer is "Yes".

UPDATE:
Our rewards are now called *KMD Rewards*
The older names and language introduced way too much confusion. So please no more referrals to
- interest - monthly rewards - annual rewards
Here's the KMD reward feature in a nutshell - new KMD coins are rewarded to users when they make transactions - total rate is ~5% per year if done monthly or more often - you stop getting rewards if you haven't used Komodo network for one month (coins haven't moved in one month). - If you don't know how UTXO's work then I refer to the Agama Wallet 'claim rewards' button that makes it super simple
Since when we have to claim the interest/KMD reward monthly? I thought we have to claim it at least once a year? after height 1000000 This is not good news for me as I have my KMD on my Ledger, and claiming interest there is currently impractical. Doing this unsecure private key export from the Ledger once a year is bad enough.

Exactly how is it that you think having physical access to and total control over your own private keys is "unsecure"?

Then use that in Agama to claim the interest.

This really a great news... While BARTERDEX is the future of decentralized exchange with the power of atomic swap, bitcore-btx is also a super fast crypto, with extreme high tech & a vision to be the #1 coin... Enjoy The Ride!!!
