How to get a KMD address

- If you haven't already, register a new account in our ICO platform: https://ico.komodoplatform.com/
- You will get a seed / passphrase, keep it safe
- Then you will see your public KMD address

On the ICO site you can verify that your passphrase matches with the public KMD address.

When do you get paid

KMD - You will get the KMD coins at the same time everyone gets them. The current estimation is in ~3 weeks, but the exact date & time will be announced soon.

Extra days spent in campaign
A non-full week spent in this campaign will get rounded up. That means 6, 5, and 4 das will be counted as a full week. 3 days and less will be ignored. For example, if you are in our campaign 8 weeks and 4 days it will be counted as if you had been participating for full 9 weeks.

The maximum number of participants is around 200 - 250 for this campaign. We will close the registration once we are full.

Regarding escrowing a Signature Campaign

I was asked by KomodoPlatform to provide a bitcoin address to hold the coins for the signature campaign of KomodoPlatform in escrow.

I will provide a bitcoin address where I hold 2 of three keys, the other key is held by the service trustedcoin.com, which allows more safety for the funds.

I will not pay out the signature campaign rewards. I will only hold bitcoins in escrow to the participiants directly. What I hold is only a safety measure in case the devs vanish. Please note that the 5 BTC won't back up the total amount that has to be paid. So this campaign is only partly secured.

KMD Price

We know what the exchange rate is after the ICO is over. It depends on how much capital we raise in the ICO.


Timeline

After ICO we can calculate the exchange rate, and it will help everyone to make the choice between BTC and KMD payout.

Two days after the ICO end, the final sheet of eligibility will be ready. From that sheet you can check that your information is correct, and the payment amount is correct.

Then we will start collecting the preferred payment method info, and BTC/KMD addresses. More info will come at that day. Collecting the payment info of 250 participants will take some time.

We will send out the payments (also BTC) about the same time we distribute the KMD to investors. That will happen ~2 weeks after the ICO.

BTC - The original plan was to do the payment at the same time KMD's are distributed, however the KMD distribution is delayed a little bit (current estimation 3 weeks). I'm not gonna promise anything at this point, but you will get the money!

This is not hurt you much for waiting payment more than 3 weeks (unless you need it urgently and want to receive your reward ASAP) , OP and dev are human too and it is OK for forgot about rank update. Delay? We never planned to pay within a week or two.

Just think about the process. Right now 250 people will send their payment info to that user, that one person will go through manually. He also must review all payments and double check they are correct (the spreadsheet is still not finished).

After all those are done we can start to think about actually sending out the payments.

The campaign is large, and these things must be done in steps.

You misunderstood.

Yes, the plan was to get this thing done after 2 weeks, which would mean next Sunday December 4th.

However there were delays, like I'm sure everyone is now aware, and just now we began to collect the payment addresses.

What I tried to simply say that I don't have a date for the BTC payment. It can be done when everything else is finished. For KMD payments you will have to wait for us to launch the network and distribute the coins. Original plan was to do both payments at the same time, but because KMD payment is delayed so much we can do the BTC payment earlier.

I cannot give you a date, because as you can see these dates are just guesses... we will do it when we can

The manager said he's now working on a new formula that will take that into account, and we will update you guys with a new spreadsheet where all the info should be correct.

It looks like @Ai7xpressTV got bonus for rank up - 0.04 + 0.004 rank up bonus = to pay 0.044 BTC

@AdolfinWolf - don't have rank up bonus. You have to fill form with information about that.
