Bitcoin doesn't care about any government! Ban it as much as they want, they can't touch bitcoin! We will find a way to use it and we will not be stopped by just a simple ban from the government. It is our right to use it and they can't stop people from using it. Bitcoin is just like any other fiat money, why should they ban it?

I am not entirely sure if my government even gives much of a damn about bitcoin, but if ever the day comes that they ban bitcoin for some reasons, I would continue holding it and just do my purchases online. It was meant to be a global currency so I am making use of it no matter what. But banning bitcoin altogether would just be stupid because it halts our progression towards a world where digital currency could become king.
Even if the government of your country does not seems to care that much they could always agree to follow some kind international agreement to ban bitcoin and make no mistake they don't want a future where a crypto currency  is king.

as now we have become addicted to bitcoin and there it has become too much difficult to us to stop using bitcoin, as in our country there are so many other things that are illegal but still people are practicing them so i will try my best to practice using bitcoin even though it is consider as illegal i our county.

I would definetly use it. Chances are small that the goverment would check my phone or anyones phone/computer to see if I Bitcoin is used. And the goverment is pretty lazy and wouldn't really care to check if I am using it. I wouldn't really openly support it, but I would still support it by using it and sharing it on the internet.

Of course I will since it is the exit wsy to government control. They cannot stop you even with ISP control. That"s the most genuine use of Bitcoin and people should be proud of this feature that Bitcoin has. The web cannot be controlled and less the physical ways. I think it will be much more cool to use if it was illegal, like anything else that's setted as illegal, much more tasty  Grin

Now my government still banned bitcoin, but at least more than 3 bitcoin forums in my country is very active talking about bitcoin and cryptocurrency. Trading about mining hardware, local exchanger, some online transactions that use bitcoin also very busy. Government made illegal for bitcoin can't stop for users like me.

Here is another proof that even if the Government says Bitcoin is illegal in their country it won't stop their citizens for using it. Because even the Government would have a hard time tracking all the transactions, even finding any users of Bitcoin wallet is hard as it is online, if the government does not enforce their laws it is no use to be banning Bitcoin in their country.

As of now, if some country is banning bitcoin, they are not pressing it hard, and it means you could still talk about it, make transactions. But when the government that bans bitcoin pushes it and impose laws against bitcoin, for sure, they are going to ban the entry of source, It's not hard to do, even vpn won't work if they ask the ISP's to produce routers/modems that disallow installation of vpn, I saw in one Dlink router that it is an option, what if they make it permanent?

If it comes to that then those that can probably should leave a country pressing so strongly against bitcoin because at that point you can be sure bitcoin is not going to be the only thing they are going to be pursuing.

I would definitely still use it because the bitcoin's idea is to get around the government anyways. There is little doubt on the reason why bitcoin could potentially be outlawed in countries simply because it disrupts the government's monopoly on the money supply, and they don't want people to shift away from their legal tender currency and go to something better.

The question is does bitcoin was made to use for illegal issue only, though we knew that bitcoin is decentralized. I think that things will be happen only if bitcoin will no longer be decentralize.

Well, I am very happy to use bitcoin, and even I have been accustomed to look for bitcoin every day. if suddenly the government says it's illegal, it is a difficult thing for me. however, for a more secure, maybe I'll start to move away from the bitcoin and try to use altcoin which has the same potential as bitcoin, but I guess it takes a long time to get away from the bitcoin.

If something like that happened maybe a crash on the price of bitcoin will follow, so maybe we will not have too much of a choice and will need to leave the crypto currencies market or move to another coin with the risk the governments make that coin illegal as well..

i don't think so , even there is ban regulated by government ,
it will not provide a big effect to bitcoin price in long term ,
also people will remain use bitcoin no matter what ,
so do i , but i doubt there will be a lot of government can do recognize bitcoin as illegal thing.

The fact that the government is banning bitcoin, it means that country people are forbidden to use or transact with bitcoin.  This will have a great effect in the bitcoin economy since this country's merchant is automatically not accepting bitcoin as one of the payment in their store.  So for example, China bans bitcoin and strictly implemented the law.  Automatically all the hashes from china will stop, people from China that once supporting and participating in bitcoin economy will need to look for another alternative.  Now figure out how much of the base user of bitcoin will stop using it when bitcoin is banned in countries like China, US etc.

Yes, I would still use bitcoins even if government bans it because I am an honest and loyal user of bitcoins and I love it because of its decentralization and not being watched by anyone, controlling all my finances on my own which gives me higher privileges and makes me feel like a King.

I went for I am not sure because I wont want to find myself on the other side of law and be used as scape goat and also will not want to lose the opportunity embedded in the use of Bitcoin so what I will do is to study the implementation because there are several laws that have been made by Government of this country but only exist in papers so if this new law go in that direction, then Im back in the world of Bitcoin but if not, ( which I doubt, I want to be more careful).

China has a major impact on Bitcoin for sure, but that doesn't mean Bitcoin has no future when China puts a total ban on Bitcoin. If they had such an intention, they would have done it already. Also, don't forget that the mining farms there for a major part are in the hands of outside-China investors. Everything will be moved to a different country with equal terms and electricity rates. But yes, at the time it happens, the price will lose a huge percentage of its value in a matter of 24 hours as result of a massive wave of panic blood flowing in the markets. I can't even imagine what will happen when the USA is going to do that as well. But then again, this is nothing more than a science fiction scene in a movie.
