The worst decision i've made so far concerning bitcoin was actually selling my first whole bitcoin when the rate was around the $400 mark.  Admittedly, i wasn't really a crypto enthusiast at the time, i sort of got it quickly.  I wish i had kept it because now it seems to take forever to be able to earn 1BTC due to price.
well if you just hold it and wait until now you already have x3 or x4 of your investment btc really rising and it would take
so many big reason to fall down again, better to correct this mistake and try holding btc again and wait for more time
before selling it.

You can be pitied today clever and first of all even for not making an investment in Bitcoin a couple of years ago. Even then, as there was a significant increase in 2013.

The worst ever decision I made was losing the private keys to one of my online wallets. I didn't had a backup, and all the coins are now gone. I tried quite hard to retrieve the coins, but it is of no use.

I also wanted to do this, but the fear of loss stopped me. Now my coins are safe.

I once sold 5btc at rate $400 then i spent to get drunk with friends, because i was depressed. This is really a very bad decision
Oh with that decision you lost a large amount of profit. Suppose you would not sell that 5 bitcoins and would hold them for longer time then today you would earn a very large number of dollars. At that time I was in believe that the price of bitcoin will increase that is why I did not sold and now I am very happy.

My worst bitcoin decision Ive ever made when I wasted my bitcoin into gambling, hyip and double site. Because when Im new in bitcoin I become addicted playing dice games, joining in any double site. And, turns out all into scam that I lose all my money.

I regret that too but it was an accident when I did invested to HYIP because I didn't know that they are just scams. And when that happened I was still new to bitcoin and I haven't thought that there would be scam like that which are existing in real life.

I, too, at the very beginning fell for such a scam, everything looked very convincing and I hoped to multiply my money, but in the end I just lost it.

I think it's a normal thing for newbies to fall for that scam because we really don't have an idea about it. And good thing that I've learned from that mistake and right now I'm fighting against those people that are looking for those new people to fall for their scam. Because I don't want others to experience what I did experience for being frustrated as a victim.

Then I'm lucky having a friend who teach me Bitcoin amd those scams, faucets as a waste of time, and much more. The regret for me also is gambling the money I have earned then it doubles then I messed up and gone. Gambling is such a big no for me now and I truly regret it. It really just eats up your money especially when you're greedy. Not really a good thing.

My worst decision I have ever made was sending some bitcoins to mtgox just before it crashed. I was greedy as hell. 20% arbitrage was easy money for me.

By the way I had withdrawn the money from mtgox so all those stories about it I took with a grain of salt. If I would only had not withdrawn previously I would have never send some btcs there.

I remember I bought some SSL from Virwox with bitcoin at the time because I was playing that game and I thought that bitcoin was in a bubble because the price just went up to $5+.... I probably bought like $30 worth of SSL at least.

Sold these SSLs just before the big pump at 2013. Got less than 1% of the value in bitcoin back. I mean it just adds insult to injury i guess for me to sell nearly at the all time high instead of waiting for the bubble to burst....

Right now 6 BTC is around $10,000. GG bitcoin.

People learn not only from their faults only but from other people the faults too. In my case the worst decision was my hesitation to do my own research and buy some bitcoins when they were cheap because I had been convinced from mass media were yelling that bitcoin is a bubble and it is used for illegal activities.

A deposit of ~17 bitcoins and 4000 EUR to MtGox in January of 2014...

That's a bummer. Well, that's basically one of the risks you will have to take whenever anyone wants to invest into something. There is those risks that we cannot avoid no matter what we do, if it happens it happens. No one could have for seen it to happen at that time, but it was foreseeable that it could happened and MtGox was not able to mitigate the threat.
This is something happens to almost the majority of the investors once in a life at least. Yes the risk is always there when it comes to high level of earning specially. The risk gets bigger with every expected high return. For traders it may not be as huge as that of the investors because the investors come with a certain long term planning. If the things go against it is hard for investors to survive.

In many cases, people shouldn't regret so hard about spending their Bitcoins in the past, since no one can predict the future and know what the price of Bitcoin will be later. Money exist to be spent, and we have only one life that we should live to our fullest. Thinking too much about the future and about the past is unhealthy, people need to live in their present too. It's easy do judge decisions when you know their outcomes, so it's better to ask if that decision was good at the moment it was made, basing on that situation.

Investing my bitcoins in an initial coin offering was the worst one for me. I won't tell you the name, but you guys gotta be careful while investing in ICOS. This really could be the worst decision of you. Please try to be patient and don't be aggressive in bitcoin investments.

My worst mistake was to don't buy Bitcoins in 2015 last months, when I knew about Bitcoins. I lost the opportunity to make a big profit that I could be enjoying at this moment, but I had fear and I didn't know if Bitcoin was really a trusted currency (as there are many scammers, liars on the internet). And I know the same will happen in few years, I will regret about don't buy Bitcoins now, but what can I do, I don't have money to do this.  Grin

The worst Bitcoin decisions I've been made is when I use all my savings in gambling, because I lose them all. I didn't expect that value of Bitcoin were raised up. That's why I'm back to zero now. I started to save more bitcoin again.

Worst decision I've made is to skip out of bit coin when it was back at the drawback when it was around the 300 price. I had a gut feeling it was going to recover and make higher gains. I just couldnt find the balls to actually buy in.
