Worst bitcoin decision you've ever made?

i have known bitcoin for long time but just active recently, the worst decision i've made was hiatus/not active from this forum and tried to another method earnings but soon i realized that bitcoin gave you more than method of earning i did.

Yes many of us have tried many such like things but at the end I guess all have realized that the best it gives to us is the bitcoin. it have ways making us to earn and to facilitate our lives by the earnings that we do from the BTC. I hope learning for our mistakes is the best if we use it as positive energy.

I think were the same did not believe in this forum that it can give us btc , and stick to ptc which is the most common way to earn money online. After that wrong decision i came back to bitcoin.

I think you only stop using this forum for weeks , mine was a bit longer I stop using this forum for a year. I stop using bitcoin and using this forum because I was scammed before and losed my trust in bitcoin. But after a year I used bitcoin again and start gaining bitcoin again.

Hahaha this is the story that relates to me even for me it was not hard to switch to that forum but after an year I realized that I was not on the right track so I switched again to the Bitcoin, thanks to the Bitcoin that it provides such opportunities of earnings to lots of people like me and you.

Maybe may worst decision in bitcoin was when I decided to invest almost all of my money in a HYIP,
I was just new in crypto currency and investment in that time.

The worst decision is not to invest in bitcoin when I first came to know about it. It was 250 dollars something when it got introduced to me by my friends. And because it was virtual currency as well as over the internet stuff then I did not trust it at the first place and just overlooked. But when I started learning about it and its trends in the market or how much helpful it could be for us in real life then I started investing in it. But at that time price was like around 1000 dollars so that makes me feel bad. Very disappointing feeling when I back calculated my bitcoin evaluation. If I would have invested already I would have gotten atlas 2000+ dollars for my 250.

My worst decision is when i invested my money coming from my small business, and used it to a gambling site, and turn it all to ashes its my worst decision from my past that even now i still remember what i did and what i throw. Since then i try my best to save money and im also avoiding to involve in any gambling sites and not to repeat the same mistake i made from before.

I will never ever advice gambling to anyone. I am tired of gambling myself it will never help you make money in fact it will turn it to ashes as you said. This is not cool at all. The best earning that one can do is to trade. It is much better than the gambling where you are left with no chance to take your money back.

Worst bitcoin decision like many members here when they were beginners in the forum is investing a lot of bitcoins in the hashocean cloud mining scam scheme. I lost all my coins available that I had at that time. At least I learned my lesson to never touch these kind of websites which are too good to be true, so they aren't.

To not buy in at 250 something. I digured btc wasnt goinf anywhere and i was wrong. It was all dud to mtgox haxk that crashed price. Now everywhere has cold wallet and it liekly wont happen ever again that big.

I also have same worst decision, when bitcoin was $250, and i have not fully trust on bitcoin, and now i feel guilty why i didn't take a good decision of buy the bitcoin.
Because in that time, i felt that bitcoin has a highest price that the reason, i didn't buy it but now i have been late.
If i know that in the next year bitcoin will be triple price, than sure i buy some bitcoins.

Putting my money into bitcoin when it was $1000 dollar plus and that too into gambling and mining​ sites. It was very disappointing when I kept money into mining sites and two of them. Both shown great promise at the first time and I was very happy to receive my income from there. However it was only for few weeks after which they shut their websites forever. The domain was for sell when. I went to web address. It was really bad and I was not happy with bitcoin due these jerks.

A few weeks back, I made a disastrous decision in trading. I sold my Litecoins at a rate of BTC0.0078 per LTC, incurring a loss of around 5% (had purchased them at BTC0.0082 per coin). Had I held on to them, then I would have got as much as 100% returns.

profit and lost are parts of every business, i do not think that we should lament for what has already passes,  i think we should think about the future planing, we need to study about new coin to invest your bitcoins there and get some good profit.

Lol yeah if you have fiat to spare for your finances, it would be better to keep your btcs locked unless its really necessary to sell them or for emergency purposes. I too made such mistakes the first time I esrned through signature campaigns and looking back I could've had more than 1btc if i'd just saved them

Thats our weakness spending it with other things and didnt think twice. when i was starting, everytime i earn i always convert it to fiat and not saving, now i realized the significance of saving my btc so i refrain myself from spending it.

that is true, take a risk on doing business like this is a usual thing ,
if you keep thinking about that everytime , you will have a hard time to become successful ,
do bankroll management properly ,
and have a future plan what will you do later , rather than keep lamenting about your losses.

I am not sure whether this is going to be my worst decision,but i sold my coins when the price of bitcoin was around $1600 and i did make a good $1000 profit with it and so literally i do not regret selling the coin at that price but looking at the price now i feel i could have waited a bit more so that i could make something extra for my efforts.

The worst thing I ever did was probably to use an online wallet. It is so unsafe and I feel much much better now that I have my coins offline. I am always too careful though so I haven’t really made any big mistakes as of yet. We will see though. I hope I don’t do anything too stupid with my money. I have read about people that struck thousands in BTC because of too low of a fee.

I have many regrets and the biggest one is that I didn't buy a few hundred Bitcoins when it was like less than a dollar. I knew Bitcoin when it was dirt cheap but I couldn't get my head around it back then and when I did have a few btc, two devs stole it form me so earlier this year had to start all over again lol. It isn't too late though, people can still make a decent future with Bitcoin even entering the market at this time.

This is the same case of mine as well. I also bought and price started to fell a bit and as a result sold it and after couple of days it started to rise again  .
But this will happen due to the nature of bitocin price is that its not stable and rise or fall in a sudden.

Well my worst decision is when i buy bitcoin in low price at 2016 and then i sell it right next to it 2016 also. i always thinking what if i hadn't sell it on 2016 and i sell it now 2017 tsk thats a worth of hundred $ that my worst decision.
