My sophomore year in college....classmates kept talking about bitcoin and asked me if I was going to buy some and I said something snobby like "sorry, I don't really have time to spend on online games and things like that"  Roll Eyes

Black Arrow was selling feb 24th delivery. I've heard the horror stories from Butterfly Labs customers. I'm also hearing stories about Advanced Mining Technology not delivering.

Today I read that KnCMiner one of the companies that is actually delivering just had an entire batch of it's customers miners smashed up by it's shipping company.

Something stinks here.

Pre-orders stink. Customers acting as creditors is a horrible idea and encourages fraud.

almost bought some coins in early 2013, but didn't because I feared that I would need that money. Now BTC skyricketed, that money was not really necessary, and i'm here trying to recover that lost opportunity

It is not that big yet but it may be in a few years

almost bought some coins in early 2013, but didn't because I feared that I would need that money. Now BTC skyricketed, that money was not really necessary, and i'm here trying to recover that lost opportunity

440$ leaves a lot of room for the price to skyrocked

Sold all my gold/silver when price was at $1100+ per BTC.

What do you mean?

I sold way too much under $10 in 2012.
No regrets, we still have a chance to make progress now.

It is funny to notice the post is from April 2013 and members were frustrated not to have buy before but they could buy at 70$/coin and the price was 13$/coin two months before

When it made it to ~$40 (above the older all time high) I thought it would go down and rest a while.
Instead BTC started a HUGE Rally.
These markets are crazy, and still fun.  Smiley

When there is a fivefold or a tenfold increase in a month or two you can except a correction but if you sell after the fivefold price increase you may sell before a huge bull market and miss the train

two rules to bitcoin
1 - buy bitcoin 2 - dont sell bitcoin (till this goldrush is done - this could take some time.
then when market cap is reached (think BIG numbers), spend away... you'll never cash back to fiat as the bitcoin economy by then will be all encompassing.
it's still dirt cheap.

The main mistake is to trade it when you are not good nor dedicated to winning because you will end up losing or winning less than if you just hold

A lot can go wrong but the US and Europe economies will suffer so much soon that I can't be anything but optimistic for Bitcoin

Just before the China run, when it was coming back from 200 I sold a bit, and did not buy back when it came down to 160. After that it ran straight to 800 before correcting again.
