20 years from now people are going to go hunting through old flash drives and hard drives hoping to find the lost treasures. Discovery will host a TV show about it. Lol.

Wow that is a bad beat. I lost a ton on SatoshiDice and sold some coins at a very cheap rate. I would of had about 20K if I held onto my coins. I'm still happy though as I love that I know of Bitcoin now. I really see this as the beginning of the game.

90 coins wtf?Huh

Most members that had coins when they were sub 20$ spent/lost/misplaced a lot of coins

When referring to an old post in the thread you can quote it, it's not obvious you are referring to it even if it is the first post in the thread :
Quote
Summer 2012. Diablo 3. I bought in game gold with bitcoin @ $3/btc - Spent 90 coins for 500 million in game gold.

IGG = 35 cents / million now.

I lose.

making strange decisions of putting a lot of my pay packet onto BITGive and other ponzi schemes then fully understanding that i was too late in the game... after 3 attempts of getting a return, learnt my lesson

edit: possibly CEX.IO, starts good then Fees are noticeable as time goes on

I once was offered to be paid $300 in BTC while it was around $8... I told the guy to pay me in cash because I did not want any of this fake internet scam money, I thought I was smarter than him.

Losing my first 3 BTC to a stupid scam. Then selling out the rest at 380/BTC.
I've bought back in since. I'm going to hold until it peaks past 1k. May sell some then. If BTC does continue falling, it's something I'm going to have to deal with. I will not panic sell. EVER!
I'm committed to my BTC (and LTC) Smiley

Friend tried to convince a group of us to start mining Bitcoin back in January 2011.  Read the Wiki, didn't really care for it along with the rest of the group.

If I had bought back then at $10 or wherever it was trading, I probably would've sold at $18 or the next peak at $30 anyway.  Undecided

Tired out a ponzi and bought some cloud mining from bit-mining.co

My losses are around .25 from those experiments. Not a really high price for a couple of lessons learned for sure. They were quite painful at the time because I had an even tinier stake than my current tiny stake.

In 2010 visiting a website that had an advertisement for bitcoin in the sidebar with a link that said "click here to learn more"...and I never clicked.

You say "anti government" like that's a bad thing...
