Very disapointing too : in the Zcoin forum, the community was clearly not for this rebranding.

I was asking about this on Discord, because IMO it's very important to speak with the community, even for centralized project and specially for decentalized, but they told me there was talk about this:

Actually - there were discussions about the need to rebrand for well over a year - the final name was chosen by the team - since every time they tried to do it by consensus on the forum some idiot would buy the domain name and spoil any plans. Here's the forum link:

Yes, in the ZCoin forrum, there was 1 or 2 threads where ZCoin community had talking about the rebranding, and if you read all the posts, you can understand that the consensus was about no rebranding.

Sorry, but there is something to be furious about: I really believed in the ZCoin project, and not for speculation, for the fundamental.
4 years supporting ZCoin and I'm going to leave angry ...

I have a Zcoin QT Core wallet version 0.14.0.5-4c7291cdb (64-bit). I just installed Firo but it is mnemonic words based and the Zcoin Core wallet was not. Do I have to send coins from the old Zcoin wallet to new Firo wallet to get them in the new wallet?

I really don't understand the price right now

Or rather I now understand why many people get caught by scam tokens created in less than 30min, few people take the time to read the detailed documentation. A good idea written on a white paper, A beautiful website with some famous logo, 2 or 3 influencer on youtube and a good marketing campaign and hundreds of people will buy without looking any further.
