OK.
I'm tired of lies and waiting for all people that promise something and then don't do anything.
Since Willowrose is not replying since January this year, I made a fork on GitHub:
https://github.com/zex24/QubitCoinThings I've done so far are:
- Added Makefile for dependencies so they can actually be build for cross compiling
- Updated seed nodes and used jemekite's (panambeng's) alternated bitcoin DNS seeder (changed to suit Qubitcoin network) to run one DNS seed node (tested and working OK)
https://github.com/jemekite/q2c-seeder There is just small code change needed to make this fully work. I will upload it later.
- Fixed splash screen
- Added check points
(Some of these things I still need to upload to GitHub but I tested it and wallet is working fine)
Regarding difficulty re-targeting time I'm afraid that whatever we put (make it shorter) we will always have problem because of ASICs. That's why I think the best thing would be to change hashing algorithm - something ASIC resistant.
The other project I had in my mind is still in program but same like this it will probably have to be done by me.
This is the splash screen so if you have suggestions to make it better we can change it.
