Thanks come-from-beyond. I have 324.69 BTE, will take the same number of FTE for them, but don't really want to mess around with part transactions, prefer to just sell them in one go.

Ah, ok. Never mind.

I notice the difficulty is still way up. If it does drop, what's to prevent someone from pointing an ASIC or server farm at BTE like last time and kicking the difficulty up again. Been around for a while and know some get a kick out of doing that kind of thing "just for fun".
I guess not much is stopping them Sad

The hashrate has been quite unstable for a while, but recently it seems to be rising, which hopefully means that there will soon be enough full-time miners to prevent this type of thing having much effect on the network.
Looks like things are loosening up. Difficulity almost halved earlier today and quite a few more blocks being generated.
Here we go again, Lower difficulty lasted about 3 days. ASIC or server farm is back raising the rate by a factor of 4.

I have a machine that is not suitable for bitcoin mining, as it has an nvidia video card.  I did mine using the diablo miner pointed to limitedloot.

"C:\Program Files\Bitcoin\DiabloMiner\DiabloMiner-Windows.exe"  --url http://8WbwCdcspsJ7ejoLSPjQP9uAuAjkWGv3DW:1@limitedloot.org:6327

I cannot connect to this mining pool any more.  Perhaps I changed something too subtle for me to notice, perhaps they are decommissioned.

Is there a pool that will work with DiabloMiner, or is there a miner that will work with an Nvidia card?

I try to be respectful and informed.

I hope this coin isn't dead yet.

I had about 15 connections two days ago, then it dropped suddenly.

**BEWARE**

Byte-Gox has become scammer and started stealing a lot of users coins using his pool and exchange.
Avoid pool.bytecoin.in and exchange.bytecoin.in... They are scam sites.

Scammed users for 1 week. Paid before and after, but scammed a week of earnings...

Don't be fooled. Byte-Gox is a scammer

Why would he only take a week?

He put the front-end of the pool down and told users they could continue mining and would be credited still. He never credited and is now ignoring the situation thus scamming users of the coins they earned during that time.
