Well, not really lame actually, I spent more than 10 minutes trying to decipher it, reading wiki and got a terrible headace trying to understand what it said... Where the answer is actually sitting in front of our face the first time we googled senary number.

Senary number is also known as base-6, so 6--6--6--6. 250doge.

I am not sure what happened either, it seems quite slow these days, the competition is not that... high. If I may suggest a few improvements...

1. maybe we can attract more new comers by adding extra info on the thread subject like "Everyone can join" "Free" or "Simple", something like that. Maybe the reason why only few people join this game despite it being bumped up at least twice a day is because they think there is certain requirement to join this thread's fun.

2. Time. I am not sure if this is the major factor, but maybe it is quite related? Your post just happen to be on a not-so-specific-and-ideal time for them to claim or even to access this forum?

3. A longer duration but with bigger final reward? Right now, the duration is every two weeks, right? What about making it one month here the period's reward is the accumulation of the formerly-two-period?

That's easy to do, let's try out.

Not so easy to find a good time window, I'm doing what I can to post at various hours. Maybe Fixed hour would be better?

3. A longer duration...

This would ruin the entire plan I will think about it, now its so elegantly synchronised with forum activity periods and time that I have doubts for changing it. But you might be right, its a little complicated[?] to track, on the other hand RPG's tend to be overcomplicated and full of wicked stats. I was planing to add HP (life points) and weapons...
