Yep nVidia people are furious at you because you break their advantage, djm34  Grin

i hate him so much  Cry
not that i ever mined talkcoin, or even looked at it ever? aha

i should start looking at stuff more then sitting here on jackpot all the time

I wonder if it were possible to make an algorithm that utilizes a lot of fast methods/functions cuda delivers, but pretty hard to code as well for AMD, and make a new coin called Cudacoin with it Cheesy

Launch it with an ipo, and some pretext for a coin...doesn't have to be called cudacoin but something cooler.

That's always the problem actually, can be interesting at first, but I don't think it would be good for a long term adoption...
(need people to upgrade first to nvidia  Grin)

The thing which is really surprising actually with amd is that groestl speed has doubled by just changing the driver version, while it took a lot more effort to Christian to program the killer groestl...

there is CPU only coin. Why not Nvidia only coin ? Its the next best thing after CPU only because there isn't any big farm. There are ASIC resistance coin. Why don't we make AMD resistance coin ?

If cbuchner1 is the developer of NVidia Coin , i bet many people will trust the coin and buy it. There are many shit coin around and people still buy it. I don't any reason why people wouldn't buy coin created by someone who is experience and well known.

Yep, you can use one ccminer now for every different card you have, since the latest release (down to compute3.0).

http://github.com/zelante/ccminer/releases

v1.2.1 "Split Screen ccMiner" (2014-06-16) Source + Windows Binary release

add Max temperature to gpu info string
fixed duplicate symbol at the end of gpu info string

windows x86 bin compiled with both cuda arch compute_30,sm_30;compute_35,sm_35
simply say: one ccminer.exe for all nvidia cards where cuda compute capability > 3.0
check compute capability for your gpu here https://developer.nvidia.com/cuda-gpus

I just downloaded this to show my temps, my desktop includes a 780 Ti (d 0) and a 780 (d 1). Running 2 different instances of CCminer for each of my cards, the temperature and the rest of the stats are showing up correctly for d 0, but for the d 1 it's showing the same stats as d 0.

djm34 sabotaged the nVidia advantage for TalkCoin a bit by doubling the AMD mining performance. Double Agent! Wink

TalkCoin Bittrex | BTC price: 0,00004338  Angry

Because of Bombadil's new calculator a lot of people realize that TAC is profitable, so they dump it. It happens everytime for every coin. Don't be surprice. Enjoy cheap TAC while you can.

No. It's because someone upgraded AMD miner. Doubling their hashrate.

Are they that stupid? What is the point of doubling your hashrate if everyone has the same advantage in the next days. It would be your advantage if you adopt it now but it won't last long. In the end you have the same amount coins for your rigs, but you pay more for the electricity.
But you have a point. Some people are very short-term. They saw their hashrate double so they think they can dump today for double amount of coins, so it drives TAC's price down.

Dont think small miner. Think big farm. Big farm are own by AMD. They have those since litecoin and growing along the way. Small miner leave when no profit but big mining farm usually stay and destroy all buy order. 100 gh farm upgrade is serious business. As small miner leave , they get bigger share. Making the dumping worst.
next time, I will ask for a bounty for not releasing the code  Grin (I will have to get better photoshop skill... )

question: how do you move file from one github rep to another one ?

So where is a link to this unnamed thing?

If you are going to leave your BTC on an exchange please send it to this address instead 1GH3ub3UUHbU5qDJW5u3E9jZ96ZEmzaXtG, I will at least use the money better than someone who steals it from the exchange. Thanks Wink

think about that, a big farm(100 rig) can easily add 1 rig at a time and making roi for that rig pretty fast

example 100 rig make 3 btc a day on jackpot, they can add 1 rig a day, because that rig is paid in one day, they are unstoppable...

this whole story about continuous hash increase should stop, every coin should have a nethash cap, otherwise they are just feeding giant farm

Mineral Coin did this with a  50 Mh/s and 1 worker for every ip by creating their own pools. Some people hate it some people love it. I like it since their are no  300 Mh/s or 1 Gh/s farms on the coin.

Exactly. those that started mining early have too much of an advantage.
right now for example, my 25MH/s on jackpot is netting me 0.01btc a day if i am lucky

at that rate it would take about 6 months to pay for the 3 750Ti's i added.
But those that hit early and have 30 750Ti's can easily go buy a new one every 4 days and just keep adding up.

Then again they would probably earn more if they sat solo-mining

There is definitely a luck factor that comes into play.  I started with 6x750ti's because of no payments and no interest for 12 months and i figured at worst case, i'd just sell them for half off 8-10 months down the road and go on my way, best case: one of the 10 coins I mined actually takes off and i break even or pay them off.  The kicker is I forgot to cancel an order on amazon for 6 more when they were backordered for a couple weeks so i built another rig when they showed up at more door a couple weeks later Smiley  Ended up getting lucky on JCP and a couple others, otherwise i'd still be paying them off.  I now have 14 750ti's and 6 750s and a power bill to show for them lol.  I'd hate to see the power bill of that many R9s.

I'm experiencing constant driver crashes mining JPC since upgrading to ver 1.2. I've reverted back to ver 1.1 and it's stable, although hash rate is slightly less.

Anyone else having problems with ver 1.2?
