Cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin are the future whether someone like it or not. Sooner or later they will become equal to fiat money. New technologies are taking place of old ones and so it's in the world of finances. The development of cryptocurrencies can't be stoped anymore.

The development of cryptocurencies has never been a question as to whether or not it could be stopped, but how much it would catch on. No-one can stop anyone from changing or developing anything. We have to still see if it will continue to grow, but so far it is showing strong signs of continuing in its life span and cryptos probably aren't going anywhere.

That is what matter, how bitcoin could catch on/ equal to fiat money or more than it. where you can spend it at anytime, anywhere you want as an International accepted currency (need more than 15 years imo)
I have to disagree if cryptocurrency aren't going anywhere, where you have been all this 7 years of bitcoin rises?
I thought we know that bitcoin are going from nothing to $800 in value, many merchants and big companies accepted bitcoin payment even these are not enough for now. With all of those progress, bitcoin already reach the highest value of currency, what if more business, merchants start to join in bitcoin world? That's how bitcoin could catch on.

If the main chain of the bitcoin can only accept few than 100 transactions per second, it will not be the major currency.

No I guess it is far from possible. Bitcoin as I see it to myself is some form of payment method rather than some kind of currency. Payment method because like others you need to buy in order to have credit. Just like Bitcoin. Also we need to have full support of the government with what you are seeing as they will need to fully cooperate if they think Bitcoin is really the future.

think you do not have much knowledge about bitcoin and are not much involved in the payment system and ecosystem of bitcoin that is why you are thinking like that. If you give some more time to search about bitcoin then you will find that people are accepting bitcoin more than any other currency in their online dealings and now a number of larger companies also accept bitcoin and like to continue with that currency.

It's going to last longer than you think. Bitcoin having a lower price means negative profit for miners and investors. The miners are the most important ones because they generate the Bitcoin we're all using. I think the price will skyrocket and it's going to be like that for a while - the recent events do not look like something good is about to happen soon!

One problem is electricity. Some will reason out there is this bitcoin paper wallet. Okay so where will you scan it?

yes that is true and to me i think as the new generation really need a online crypto currency which can provide onlne buying and selling facilities and i think bitcoin will be the first choice of the people.

as you say, maybe yes and maybe no. very difficult to guess, whether bitcoin will actually be received as currency outside the internet or not. but, this time, has become the currency bitcoin on the internet, even the best currency. one thing I am sure, that bitcoin will be something that is well known in the future. although not used as currency, I know that bitcoin will be used as a means of transaction.
