Bitcoin has been proclaimed dead 89 times. It has been labeled a Ponzi scheme and a failed experiment. Writers have argued for it to be forgotten and for developers to move on to greener pastures. There are a lot of stupid people in the world that start really dumb rumours, and then there are even more stupid people who believe those rumours. Bitcoin has never died, look at the price now, there is a long way for it to go if it is going to die. I definitely believe that it will have a lot of influence on the future of money, the fact that it is decentralized is great. However, I don't think that it will become the future of money. A lot of people like that they can store their money by themselves, and that no one can manipulate or take away their coins.

I don't know why it surprises you that much. Especially when you consider that Bitcoin is just money with a few handy extra features that lends themselves perfectly for all kinds of deep web purchases. I know enough people that trade via the deepweb buying and selling certain products. Does it bother me? Nope. Why? Because I know equal as many people that do it with fiat, and that doesn't bother me either. Those that were doing their buying and selling on the streets are now shifting to the deep web as it's more convenient for them, and they don't have to deal with people face to face anymore. Just let it go and focus on your own things, that's the best option since there is no way to prevent it.

Honestly, I really don't see the transparency a good feature... Anyone can be a target of extortion or any blackmail since the money is seen and we see who is the richest among us... That is why most of the people with big amount of money don't put it anymore in one account only and on their name, what more with bitcoin, your transactions are recorded unless you won't reveal your bitcoin address( which is very unlikely to happen since you have to use it for your daily living ) or you divide your money into many account ( which I see it very complicated )...

Bitcoin is a very good contender for this role, it may eventually disappear but he will be replaced by another currency, I think that the future is not necessarily for bitcoin, a digital currency but for sure.

Using blockchain as your primary wallet is the best aside from it is the main source, it has the full control of security features to make it very safe. No one can hack your bitcoin address unless you give your log-in information to someone else.

From the look of things, the future of money as at today might not be bitcoin but digital currency as bitcoin is also a form of digital currency but we cannot remove the fact that bitcoin has been a pace setter for other digital currencies. The reason for my position is that the way governments are trying to discourage the use of btc, because they could not find a way to break the software, and also stop people from using the currency then I see countries developing their own digital currencies for their own citizens by that they will have their control and we will have our digital currency...

No doubt! bitcoin will definately the future of money as it gives the user more freedom,security & sfetiness to their money. It gets dead in past because there are very less number of people who know about them,but now most of the people came to know about it & also they are preferring them then the hard money. This probably corresponds to a small portion of the market that uses Bitcoin, with Fiat currency this type of market is much more active.
I think this has become less and less frequent from the moment that many people involved in the Silk Road went to jail. But it seems the darknet markets are getting more sophisticated and are finding solutions to avoid the same mistakes of the past.

I share opinion the most of the members claim here that fiat must be replaced sometime but I don't think this will be such quickly. First of all knowledge should be increased in this sphere in order to avoid next "revolution" in finances.

That is correct. If people do not have knowledge, they can not fully understand how Bitcoin work. Bitcoin is more real than any fiat currency and can be easily printed onto paper notes for use by people without internet.
