order here but you may need to make account to see the shop link i didn't see it till  i login my account Ive  had for a while .

https://canaan.io/shop/

You do have to have an account to see the "shop" link.

I'm really hoping these can be "dialed in" for better efficiency, might not be critical right now but as diff climbs it'll get important.

I suppose that could be the function of the "741" if/when it actually shows up though, to be the "more efficient brother".

I'm no longer legendary just in my own mind!

Anyone here telling me why I should pay $ 0.148 pr GH/s when I can get a miner for $ 0.119 pr GH/ s ?
Only reason should be that it runs CGminer 4.9.2....... but does it justify a big price difference on more Wattage and higher GH price ?
I will buy a shit load if/When price goes down to 720,-$.
No Bitcoin payment WTF  Huh Angry

All in All im a bit dissapointed.

Does anyone have an idea from past experience how long Avalon take to ship to the states? Once they actually become available for sale of course.. I didn't see a year behind Monday the 14th 20??.
True.
Checked Kano a few sec ago and it shows canaan (Avalon) is running 2,089.15THs vs their normal ~250-300THs so they are um, still "testing"?

They have another miner in the pibeline... Didnt you notice in the code something about a A7 with higher chipcount ?  DO NOT POST SESC LINKS
I think the 6TH version is for the "Little people" and the 7.4TH miner is the one they use them self.

I was going to purchase one, but when I went through the checkout procedure I noticed that no payment methods were detailed. I just emptied my cart and came straight here to check the scuttlebutt. I am kind of disappointed with their lack of attention to payment details.

no BTC payment - no deal
Agreed.
If they directly accepted BTC I would pay the bit more in $/W/THs viewing it as a good and hopefully more reliable upgrade from my remaining s7's at work vs getting any more s9's.

Too bad I ONLY buy miners with earned BTC. The last time I used Fiat aka 'real money' was in April 2014 to buy my first pair of s1's from an Amazon dealer (JonesGear) located nearby in Ann Arbor. Haven't spent a single cent since in Real Money. Currently that seed money has grown to >165THs all paid for in BTC from farm income.

I am not about to pay the bit more PLUS the % it costs to exch BTC to dollars to buy them. Screw that noise.
