That's not an official YD giveaway, otherwise myself or Ethan would have posted it.  I made one in Games and Rounds, and Ethan came and verified that it was legitimate, but it wasn't that one.

Interesting, lots of sites still popping up?  What makes you different?  I used to play at Prime dice and they no longer accept USA players so why should I join you guys?  Are you planning on having any rewards for members who play there?

Their difference compare to the other gambling sites is that they have lower house edge than the most gambling sites out there, and they are also accepting anyone who wants to play on their sites. Smiley

After I went through the yolodice site. I love it cos it easy to use/register,investment stats and their referal link either. My advice is that they need to make the site mobile friendly in other to have customer or gambler.

Did you find the site mobile-unfriendly?

I think it could be easier for sure. Not sure what percentage of users you get from mobile but I think it will be high and could be higher.

I asked this quiestion specifically because YD scales well to mobile sizes. At least it should and if there is anything wrong with playing on mobile, I'd love to get a more detailed feedback. I am constantly getting feedback for the mobile version, so people use it and they do play on phones.

I just checked and Android is the 2nd most popular OS people use to play on YD, here's the top list:

1. Windows - 85%
2. Android - 8%
3. Linux - 4%
4. Mac OS X - 2%
5. iOS - 1%

I have grouped OSes by number of bets, so 85% of recent bets were placed on Windows etc.

Cheers,
Ethan

How much does the list change if you group by wagered?

Here are numbers by amounts wagered:

1. Windows - 86%
2. MacOsX - 8%
3. Android - 5%
4. Linux - 0.5%
5. iOS - 0.5%

This time I have grouped OSes by amounts wegered, so e.g. 86% of all wagered amount is in bets placed from Windows OS etc. This is data from the last 2 weeks.

Cheers!

It seems to me that your offer is more fitted to be called a paid promotion than a real review.
It's hard to call it anything else, when the deal is: we will include review of your site, but you will have to pay us.

Can we have chat in a popup window? It would be much nicer than current full page or bottom side modes.

As I said before, that giveaway is not sanctioned by ethan_nx or myself; it is not legitimate.  If it was, Ethan would have posted there confirming it like he did with mine.

It is sad that this was not traced at the first time it was posted. It went to 3 pages without anyone knowing it. I think Yolo would need someone who can trace this fakes that are using their names or there would be a larger scale of problems in the future. This is a wake up call if they want to be one of the largest gambling sites.

Thanks. Buttons need to be improved, more people complained about them being too cryptic. Thanks!

Even large gambling sites dont bother chasing down fakes.  People should just know to only trust things coming directly from ethan or someone he specifically allowed.  It's not YD's fault they didn't check it out first.  It wouldn't be a "larger scale of problems" if people did some research into someone prior to participating.

Hi,

moooonu came with an idea to run a simple trivia later today and I agreed to sponsor the prizes. If you are interested, here's the ann thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1773935 . The first trivia starts in ~2 hours from now! I hope you enjoy it!

I am thinking into turning this into a periodic contest, or maybe even add a "trivia bot" to spice the chat a little bit. It's not a critical thing for a dice game, but still fun.

Cheers,
Ethan

A trivia bot sounds nice. A bot who you can tip, pm the question and answer and it will do the rest. Cheesy
