I want to keep you guys and gals in the loop regarding site development, what's planned, what I am working on and what has been fixed/done.
Therefore I have created a Trello public board here:

The board is public. Each card represents an idea, a feature or an issue/bug. The staff (me mostly) can add new cards and move things around. You, our users, can:

- comment on cards
- upvote ideas

If you want to suggest an idea, you can do it either here in this thread or in our Chat when I am around. If I find the idea reasonable (or it gets suggested by multiple people) I will add it to the board.

Take a look. The lists will get filled with time :-)

Indeed I am pretty much confident about the site too. It's been only 2 months since it's relaunched and it gained pretty much users than others sites. Ethan is pretty good dev which is open minded about his goals with site. With this trello we can upvote any of his idea and can suggest him something which can be helpful to the site.

There are hundreds of quality users and I think hundreds of quality users are better than thousands of beggers with a few quality users.

Indeed I am pretty much confident about the site too. It's been only 2 months since it's relaunched and it gained pretty much users than others sites. yes ethan is very active in here too and i am sure that he is good person and wants to make his project/site gets success like other sites, its good that yolodice have open public board for members, so members can use this to share anything and if there is any trouble that members have, the dev and his staff will fixed it.

The new bet validator code is released. It fixes rounding errors - the previous version reported bet profit errors because of rounding errors on some bets. (Yep, our validator not only validates rolled numbers, but bet profit too!) Bet profit calculated in the validator was 1 satoshis off compared to the actual profit.

If you installed yolodice-validator as a Ruby gem, simply do:

And why you should need deposit bonus? You can earn slowly by playing on dice game, there is no need for deposit bonus here unless they are try to make new system that have some jackpot which is not really needed too. Even from faucet people can win 1 btc so why bothering about deposit bonus? Try to deposit a little amount to play and start to earning here

Because most of the dice sites have deposit bonus , so if you see in competition wise it can be important plus those extra bonus can help us try the site out without risking our initial deposit. I'm not saying it should give this bonus always it can be on first deposit also.

Thanks for the idea. I'd rather NOT have a deposit bonus for now. Here's why:

- if you want to try a few rolls without depositing your own coins - faucet is here
- if you want to try playing a bit higher - you could deposit a "one-beer equivalent"; there is no much risk involved here
- if you want to play for real, deposit. there have been over 1500 deposits now for almost 600 BTC altogether. nothing went wrong
- any reasonable "bonus" I have seen assumes you deposit some coins anyway and wager a bit, so it's not just for "trying a new site"
- I'd also avoid promotions that encourage people to set up multiple accounts just to get a few satoshis.

I cannot justify adding a "sign-up bonus" as a way to let people try the site. The only way I could imagine a bonus like that is if a user deposits his own coins and wagers a bit. This is something we might indeed consider.

Regarding ref payouts

When YD started 2 months ago we decided to spend 10% of site profit on referral payments as a way to promote the referral program. We decided to end this promo and go back to flat (linear) payouts and start other giveaways and promos instead.

This week (ending Sun, 5 Mar) is the last week we will spend 10% of site profits on ref payments.

The promo was a lot of fun, we paid above 5.7 BTC in just two months and it worked pretty well. Thank you!

Instead, all refferral partners will receive 0.2% of amounts wagered by their referrals in a given week. The rules will be simpler and it's still above the avarage what other sites pay.

So if you have high-rolling friends, invite them to YD for this last chance of really high payout.

Faucet amount is limited. It is to stop any possible faucet abuse. However a player can claim faucets 50 times per 24 hours whose amount depends on players wager. If the faucet is empty most of the time Ethan refills it but sometimes he is sleeping at the time when faucet is empty so have patience and msg Ethan in chat about it so that when Ethan comes online he sees it and instantly refills the faucet.
