Does anyone noticed almost all investments on yolodice are down a lot atm? Bitcoin, down from 182 btc invested to 129 btc atm, ETH, it was 1.3k ETH but now only 800 ETH investment, Doge, it was around 72millions doge invested, but now onky 39 millions doge. Seems big investors have withdrew their money and exchange it to fiat/usd

Yeah already noticed it and most likely it is related to people cashing out to fiat. Between January 6 and January 9, 2021 that drop occurred in BTC for example (not sure about the other coins) and I find it normal personally. Once the price drops or stabilise, it will increase again

Guilty partially here,,, not that my investments were a big part of the yolodice bankroll but I divested a few days ago again. My bankroll has not been doing well for a while and I wanted to gamble back my losses, hence the divest. Also now,,, just want to hold on for a bit to avoid the gambling temptation while price volatility goes crazy.

All this is short term guys,,, long term the bankroll goes up for sure. Watch for next wager competition;)

What do you mean? Yolodice also ran wager contest before and it really attract more poeple to come. But the result isn't good for site and investor because in the end of contest, yolodice's btc profit dropped almost 10 btc on that time

I understand why people may say that they want a lot more users on yolodice compared to other places. One of the main reasons is the fact that we are the people who invest into bankroll here, which means when gamblers lose money, the investors earn money and not the casino itself, well yolodice wins some too obviously but at least investors do make a good profit thanks to gamblers losing.

It means people will want a lot more users, doesn't matter how much, there could be 1000 people gambling all at once, and people will ask for 2000 people, there could be 2000 and we will want 5000 people because in the end the more people gambles here, the more money investors make. So, it is not always sensible request, it is not always a request yolodice could fulfill, because it is a never ending request and investors will always want more and more, because why not?

Asking for some improvements doesn't mean that the players goes away since provably they want to see more from this site and they want to improve for betterment of all, so if you want to invest and still doubting better ask some feedbacks on multiple people who still have an investment to their site.

That's true I think they were just proposing some improvements to the yolodice I think the yolodice are responding to player's request I remember when the time someone ask for promotion and the yolodice give it I really think it's still profitable to invest to their website.

That's it and we cannot tell that user go away just for that since we need to see something, their marketing campaigns still running for quite long time and I see so many people still gamble on this site so for this we can tell that they are still kicking good on this business. But for investment better to research more since I don't want any to jump on things that they doesn't know since they might regret if the result is not what they expect to see.

If you compare the market conditions with the different bankrolls for every coin you will certainly notice how they follow the market. I believe it's unavoidable to have that: if the price will start to get more stable, you will notice an increment in the bankroll too.
Also, if the price will go down more, you will see more players coming to the platform because players tend to associate a lower price with higher risk-taking endeavors.
I follow bitcoin casinos since 2012 and I have always seen it everywhere.

It's just mere luck, and long-term speaking, players that keep playing (whatever their strategy is) will end up losing. I was one of them for example: on yolodice at some point in May I was up 0.40btc for more than a month and then I went back to -0.72btc. Draw your own conclusions.

That was really true. I think we could take profit from luck well sometimes we may be greedy and we wanted more even if we won I think there's no strategy that could run for months and earn. That's really risky.

Are you sure? All investors made good profit from last week until this week. Bitcoin site's profit increased 1.6 btc, ETH increased around 35-40 ETH (only for those 3 investments), and DOGE is increased around 600k-700k site's profit. Except LTC, there was a whale who took/won more than 300 LTC from sote last week

Are you sure? All investors made good profit from last week until this week. Bitcoin site's profit increased 1.6 btc, ETH increased around 35-40 ETH (only for those 3 investments), and DOGE is increased around 600k-700k site's profit. Except LTC, there was a whale who took/won more than 300 LTC from sote last week

There isn't ETH investment for users. The opened investment belongs to the house. Bitcoin profits jumped after a deeper crash earlier this week so overall the profit was negative. LTC investment is damned

Unfortunately there are a lot of times when gamblers end up winning for a while, but the fact is that the general direction should always be going higher for investors. When you make a profit for 10 weeks straight and lose for 3 weeks straight, you tend to consider the losing one a lot more than the winning ones, and that is why investors tend to take out their money.

In the long run, if you invested bitcoin to yolodice 3 years ago, how would you have done now? Think about how little bitcoins worth was 3 years ago today, and if you invested lets say 1 bitcoin to it, you would have a lot more bitcoins but also bitcoin worths a lot more as well so in fiat you would be super rich.

Even removing fiat aside, if you checked how much money you have made from just bitcoin to bitcoin sense, you would have been in positive, not 500%+ I am sure, but it would still be positive in a decent manner. That is why people invest, so they can make money in the long run.

Conditions don't always stay the same year after year. People have been gambling much less on this site than at any other time. Investors are well aware of how it is supposed to work and I think most people are fine with having a few weeks where they don't make any profit. Yea i know that. Those 3 investments are belong to house or admins. There were 4 opened investment on ETH, but 1 biggest investment got divested while ETH hit $1300 (i assume that investment was belong to admins).

YOLOdice isn't a new gambling site. YOLOdice have been operating since year 2016 and I don't see or experienced any issues on their end. I am a gambler myself on their site, playing some of the bitcoin that I have earned on their campaign and I can vouch that they are operating smoothly which is something to be expected.

As far as I am concerned, gambling website who uses bitcoin as their medium of exchange does not really require a gambling license unless otherwise you are operating from a country where having a license is mandatory as well as when you are offering your services to other countries which also require a license. Although some of the casino are explicitly showing that they have a license, it doesn't guarantee that they will honestly do their job. Searching for a reviews here in bitcointalk is a lot more effective I think.

I wonder if these guide actually verifies the legitimacy of a license. I feel like it's too simple for a license verification process.

As I observed here in crypto ever since I started involving in crypto-gambling, gambling licensed doesn't really matter as long as the site was seen serious about running their business. Good and active customer service, smooth deposit and withdrawal, ability to solve issues, seriousness in doing marketing, etc. are the considerations of most gamblers.

It's hard to build a reputation from scratch competing with other popular websites so if you ever see a gambling site that running for several years now, able to gather more users, don't have any issues, then you can bet that even without a license, it's worth to play with the risks with them.

I actually myself only gamble at one licensed website,,, and in my experience, the ones that have stuck around the longest and the ones who are more in touch with their users are the crypto unlicensed ones.

Licenses do not change much when it comes to customer support and or legitimacy,,, just look around on the forum and see all the scam accusations that were proven in the past. Most are with so-called licensed casinos:)

That has been the case for years, but having a license matters just a quite bit, as in that is the bare minimum effort to put in. So if you are starting a new place, you have to get it, at least until you get loved by more people, that way you will have a license to give people some "ease" that is fake obviously, even with a license it could be a scam website, but when you turn out to be a decent place after few years you do not even need to renew the license, as long as people trust you the license means nothing.

So, this means all the known websites like yolodice and all the other big ones, could just remove their licenses, stop renewing them or however it works, and they can continue to get the same amount of people as they have always done, why? Because we already trust them, they are already great, so they can just get people to play because they love the place.
