According to my experience bitcoin is all in all now. Only btc is good for long term. If i classify then defiantly i say bitcoin is the best now and fro 2018. After bitcoin i will recommend  Litecoin, Ethereum, Monero and some others. Those coins are best for 2018 I think.

Marketing on MONA is really getting stronger in Japan, https://youtu.be/DDkGGf5n9Uo

Tradeable vs BTC on Bittrex and JPY on Japanese exchanges

hey guys

i wanna know whats the best Alt to invest for huge gain 2018? (invest and waitin for 1 year)

Thanks in advance
As of now Bitcoin cash was indemand in the market.
Many miners are supporting it to have a great price.
That's its the reason why the price of bitcoin is gradually falling down.
Aside from that many especulation that the needs in bitcoin cash will continue until early January.
So its better if you buy and hold bitcoin cash now because will have a great valie in the future.

I think modum has a good opportunity to grow, as they start mass production in Q1 2018 (https://www.reddit.com/r/modum_io/comments/78os54/modumio_milestones_roadmap/).

I have high hopes for Waves. Already a fast DEX, fiat gateway and more to come.
Should become better when more coins are added to the DEX.

It is a very promising Anonymity Coin, great tech and team, it´s mineable (and very profitable), Securenodes are coming, Marketcap is 48Mio. now, so it has place to grow.

I have opinion that waves have potential to will be good coin in future. waves have good development program, such as WavesDEX the place for exchange. but I think the load of page site is too heavy, so I often found error in DEX (eg the pairs not found)

The word 'Best' is perceived differently by each one of us. According to me a safe investment that can grow 10 to 15x within a year is great. So my choice would be 25% in Bitcoin / Ethereum then 15% in each Omisego, IOTA, NEO & Lisk.  Some portion in Waves, Ark, Bitquence, PIVX, IFT, Binance, Kyber & Walton. Small portion in ICO's like Spectre.ai, GOT, Quantstamp. For example if I had 40K USD below is what I would do. This is not advice of any kind please do your own research. My favorites are IOTA & Omisego

Bitcoin - 6K
Ethereum - 4K
Omisego (OMG) - 6K
IOTA - 6K
NEO - 6K
Lisk - 6K
Waves - 0.5K
Walton - 0.5K
Ark - 0.5K
Bitquence - 0.5K
Binance - 0.5K
Kyber - 0.5K
PivX - 0.5K
Bitquence - 0.3K
IFT - 0.2K
Rest one thousand in the ICO's mentioned above.

Slightly more detailed - they have secure nodes in development to provide end to end encryption of transactions, you can add messages to transactions, large engaged team, new website and logo on the way (if that sort of thing matters), and payout structure that incentivizes steady improvements.

From memory the developers get 8 per cent of all blocks mined, rather than a large initial premine amount as you might see with some other coins. This means there will always be a steady amount of income coming in for the developers that encourages long term growth and (relatively) stable price increases.

They also got a mention in a Palm Beach Confidential report, which is apparently a positive but I don't know much about that.

Hi guys,

I am new here and nice to meet you all!  Smiley

Would like to know the most trusted website where can I buy/sell (with dollars/euro), the following altcoins: waves, ark, etc? I need a strong website where can I buy/sell/exchange almost all coins easy and fast.

I'm currently using bitstamp but there you can just buy/sell bitcoins, ripple, and ethereum, so I cannot buy other altcoins.

Will remain grateful to you... thanks!

Maybe ethereum seems to be much safer way to invest if we talk about altcoins. I would say also monero and litecoin but altcoins are not steady like bitcoin in the long run for my opinion.

I looked through all the thread and I understand that nobody would give the good advice for free (but you won't lose your money if you give it thou). And, of course, it is true that one can invest in BTC in long-term and it would be a solid investment. But I don't understand why Ethereum is not as popular advice in long-term as Bitcoin!

Let me clear my point:
- ETH is not "another one" altcoin, it has a track record
- it has a strong community behind it
- it has a better technology than BTC (just look at how much ICOs are based on ethereum blockchain)
- these guys are solving their growth problems while BTC community is stuck in political games

There might be some additional points so far. So, why do you think ETH is not as solid as a BTC?

For me the best altcoin for investment in the next year is still dominated by some old coins that have the potential to continue to grow like ETH, ZEN, LTC and WAVE so far still have relatively active price movements so it isn't impossible at this altcoin prices next year will increase higher .
