I read the White Paper.
I have a question - where does all the actual data get stored? The blockchain is NOT the place to store data. The White Paper does not address this.
Please answer this question: where does the data get stored? Say you have a 1Tb database that gets replicated to all the nodes. Surely the 1tb of data is not actually stored on the blockchain?

Yes! Data is stored in the blockchain! Using private blockchains (as an example, nStratis will have completely customized private chains) the data is stored in the blockchains. Modifying how data is stored from input to blockchain is where dAppsheets come in. I do not expect people who aren't the company using dAppsheet to download the private blockchain, or even a public one. They will interface with a web GUI if the dAppsheet is available for public viewing.

I was just thinking that Bitcoin only allows a few characters of data to be stored on the chain itself. So I assume Stratis allows this? But does Eth and WAVES also allow large amounts of data to be stored on the actual blockchain? Is there an example of something like this working? Or a more detailed document that shows more technical detail? I am still not convinced, unfortunately.

10 min and I'm still downloading blockchain on my NXT wallet, is it a problem for incoming trasactions? Do we need NXT address to invest in the ICO? I thought the tokens will be left on the ICO website still the end of the ICO for distribution

No, they cannot be bought on the AE yet. After the token distribution, the token owners can sell at any fine retailer
