Does anyone using the pool have donator status on litecoin.net?  If so it would help greatly if you could get our post stickied there.

WDC will be added within the next few hours.  I may need to remove FTC or FRC to reduce load on the server.  (probably FRC)

First block was an orphan Sad  Fortunately second block was not.  Rewards for 2nd block are currently in unconfirmed status.

Hi Guys,

Was wondering if anyone could help. Im trying to get scrypt minig going for WDC coins but I get a lot of problems. I have a rig with 2x 7950 and another one with single 7950. I have tried to use cgminer as i use it for bitcoin or terracoin with no problems, and im getting all sorts of problems. On a single card rig cgminer is working at 620kh/s  but it submit not much shares, util is between 2-3/m which is not much. On the other rig with 2 cards I get even more problem. Cgminer is working but only one gpu is submitting shares and after a minute 2nd gpu would go sick. Sometimes 1st gpu is working sometimes 2nd but never both. Very often I get msg that driver just recovered and is only getting stales.  I have tried reinstalling the drivers and upgraded to 13.4 but no change. I dont get any problems when mining Btc or Trc. Ive tried guiminer but no luck either.

Are you downclocked memory? Scrypt based coins use vidocard memory, so u need overclock it ot just leave it by default frequency. Try with batch file. Something like this:
Code:
cgminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://multipool.in:port -u workerna.me -p pass --worksize 256 --lookup-gap 2 --thread-concurrency 8192 -g 2 --intensity 13
Also, new GUIminer scrypt v.0.04 work pretty good.
p.s.
13.4 drivers seems to be bugged.

Thanks for the info. My memory is not down clocked. I have tried to run it default and overclocked but I get the same issue. My single card rig is working fine now, I found perfect settings for me gpu and getting over 600kh/s and U: at 32.38/m but dual card rig is not happy with them. It works but mining only on 1 gpu at a time and one get sick always. What is the  min ram that I need for 2 cards?  I have only 2 gig of ram on dual card rig so would that be a reason for all my problems?

Gui miner is not working for me at all, tried both versions.

Wich brand are your 7950's? If is Sapphire with BIOS version before 015.025. xxx(015.023; 015.022 or older) update to 015.025.xxx Also, update drivers to latest beta, and disable crossfire if is enabled. I don't think 2GB RAM is not enough.

I Have 3x club 3d 7950, 3Gb. below is my cgminer output and config. I will update the drivers to beta now and see if that helps, my crossfire is disabled so dont think its an issue there.

p.s.
13.4 drivers seems to be bugged.

from beta drivers there is only 13.5, what is the best driver to use? any legacy driver that is known to work well?
Many Thanks for help.

10.10e, 11.12, 11.2, and 12.8 have been found to be operational. I use 12.8 and I get the highest hashrate, except it never identifies the right card on my laptop. Avoid any 13.X series drivers though. They all cause issues currently.

two quick questions...

1) The donation setting keeps getting cleared, so I reset it. Is it actually clearing, or just not refreshing on the page and leaving a blank entry? (want to make sure you get your donations)

2) Which exchange are you getting the rate from for WDC?

Thanks

Your post caught my attention as I have been having some problems with my Sapphire HD7950.

I just tried the latest BIOS for my Sapphire 21196-00-20G and my computer would not boot back up with the new 015.025.000.099.000000 flashed to it.

It came with 015.022.000.001.001496 and I had to reflash it back to this version so the computer would boot again.

I just downloaded the 015.025.000.001.000000 BIOS and will try it later. I already had the miner down for about 45 mins.

I have two of these cards and they were both running fine at 615-620khs when one of the cards quit and locked the win8 OS up.  They were both running 74-75c as I was just making some log notes when the card quit.  I was reaching for the keyboard to see what had happened within cgminer when the system locked up, then bsod and core dump.

Turned out that the cards BIOS was fubar.  When I finally was able to boot back into windows, I used GPUz and when it read the cards firmware it gave all sorts of jibberish in the BIOS and memory fields.  Both BIOS positions were messed up (switch positions 1 and 2).  I have a RMA for that card, but my other one now will not go over 520khs before it gets unstable and starts giving HW errors and either crashes the system or just fails to the default minimal safe settings at which time the AMD driver crashes and I have to reboot.

I was going to buy two more cards but now I am wondering if I should try a different brand or version of these cards.
