The profit calculations for LTC, TRC and FTC just went away, so it is defaulting to the next highest.

EDIT: I think it is because BTC-e is down.

I added bter as a secondary..  This problem should hopefully not happen again.

The profit calculation on multipool.com is different from coinchoose.com and from coinwarz.com. Why? How can I be sure that I am always mining the most profitable coin, if there are different calculation results?

Those sites don't account for stales and such due to fast block times. Multipool does.

If a coin has 20% stales because it has 10s blocks, the calculation coinchoose/coinwarz has is way off (by 20%).

I believe Multipool uses a more conservative estimate of stales than those sites as well.  You are free to mine DGC and WDC directly and see if you can beat the estimates.  Although I don't recommend it Smiley

I've had to institute a minimum of 1 coin to cash out (all currencies).

We are getting killed by LTC transaction fees (down 30 LTC as of this post).

I switched my auto cashout to manual (I just like to see them pile up on my account anyway).
Where do you get your FTC numbers, though? I know you have to take into account stales and several exchange rates, but I don't know where the 1.51 comes from.

It looks like FTC difficulty just went up, the pool may be switching soon.

Edit: actually, not sure this is the case, my client is still reporting 94.  Coinchoose says 133, but coinwarz and dustcoin agree with me.

It's possible that 133 is the difficulty for current block in which case the multipool should switch to mnc after the next FTC block.

It wasn't me! I haven't made any withdrawals yet, :p.

You could also just set a fee for withdrawals if the amount is under x.

I really think you need to add a mining fee to at least cover your expenses (server, transactions, other?). It's more long-term stable, and would allow you to add many more coins without it being about server costs. I'm sure not everyone would be happy about it getting added, but I think adding 10 new coins (even if enabled for multi-port only) would more than make up for them.

And thanks for monitoring fees... < 1 coin payouts is ridiculous!

I hate the idea of forced donations. I'd be much more apt to donate if it's a personal choice. And many more are the same way, as proven by "Free to Play" (with optional cash shop) games earning more than they did when they were "Pay to Play."

I have some thoughts regarding this.  Will be releasing some info shortly.

Something is up...

The LTC is rejecting valid shares submitted, like 50% out of nowhere...

submitted 48/32 rejected, target above share.
submitted 56/32 rejected, target above share.
submitted 36/32 rejected, target above share.
...
...

but high enough...
128/32 accepted
234/32 accepted
...
...

You seem to be 1-off on your calculation... thinking 32 is 64? or not "retargeting us", but wanting xxx/64, thus, we are still sending xxx/32

Restarted the miner (cgminer), and it went back to xx/32... but started again on a retarget... (Seems to be a cgminer 3.2.0 issue. 3.2.1 adjusted fine.)

NOTE: Rejecting those low shares does NOT hurt us... Just for the record, they were too low, thus any at the unseen actual target would still be accepted.

Just to add on my own experience in case it helps with debugging, I'm not experiencing this problem. I'm at 31818 Accepts and 962 Rejects right now total, and ever since it jumped to LTC my Accepts have been going up while Rejects have stayed pretty low (most of my Rejects were from the fast-block coins).

This was on FTC... just now... The Diff changed mid-stream due to the number of workers online now.

diff 32 hurts when it drop due to new block found, and rejects up to 6x shares that were "waiting" for delivery, just before the block was found. Not so bad on slow coins like FTC, but on fast coins, it cuts you short by almost 50% of shares.

Alleviated by reducing my work-load size to 64 also... thus, it finishes up to 4x faster and then submits... instead of waiting for workload 256 to finish, before submitting on every card.

Problem resolved... Use CGminer 3.2.1 (I was only using 3.2.0 for issues related before all the wallets updated when I was solo-mining on this machine.)

Is it recommended to use WL of 64 for all coins (er, the multipool) then?

Hello

Can you explain this pls:

Top 10 Hashers (Current Round)

Username   Est. Payout   Valid Shares

mikebrisboy   7.6832   7630
krjalone   7.0983   5557
wiggly   6.9326   5403
ikuzo           6.9092   1252
berrinson   6.5075   5409
MHMco   6.187           10774
leo1934   5.6893   10289
usahero   5.3406   12573
captainfuture   4.8488   5117
gudmunsn   4.3105   5078

Why do I have smaller estimated payout for most Valid shares? How come that player with 9Mhash power is only having 1200 valid shares, while I with 7Mhash have 12500? So many people dont find any blocks,
yet report high hash rate. I found 2 blocks now at 133 diff and 5 blocks on 94 diff (on some other pool), and got paid out only around 250 FTC. Yes. it could be luck, but please still explain the shares.

reported hash rates and coins per day:

1    ikuzo     9,563    289.128
2   krjalone   9,157    276.853
3   wiggly   8,734    264.064
4   mikebrisboy   8,432    254.933
5   MHMco   8,319    251.517
6   berrinson   8,191    247.647
7   captainfuture   8,063    243.777
8   leo1934   7,447    225.153
9   gudmunsn   6,217    187.965
10   usahero   6,197    187.360

new share count:

mikebrisboy   7.7006   6885
ikuzo   7.1189   1220
krjalone   6.8137   5393
wiggly   6.7681   5384
berrinson   6.6129   5530
MHMco   6.1265   10581
usahero   5.636   13505
leo1934   5.4052   10173
captainfuture   4.8178   4643
gudmunsn   4.2087   5398

Now either something is wrong with this counter, or people are reporting fake hash rates. My shares have increased in this time, while shares of some others didn't. And the guy is still there:

Rank   User Name   KH/s   est. coins/Day
1    mikebrisboy   9,344    282.507
2   usahero   7,089    214.329
3   ikuzo   6,453    195.100

@usahero: Are you mining FTC directly? The left-hand box is current hash-rate, and the right side (shares) is contribution towards current round. So the people on the multiport switching on to FTC will have a high hash rate, and low shares until later on in the round.

I'm not sure how the estimated payout is calculated though. It could be the share count doesn't take share difficulty into account, so the higher payouts are due to fewer but more valuable shares.

Yeah, I am mining FTC directly.

It is possible, that his shares are worth more because of higher difficulty. His hash rate is jumping from 6 to 18mhash. He didnt find any blocks... Hopefully that is just due bad luck.
