It's true that the correspondingly low BCC price may have made it expensive to pay daily interest but remember they paid about 3 months worth of interest to everyone in one go. I would hold the BCC. They are still retaining some value and they might have some other plans for the coin. They say the coin isn't finished and will be back up to previous levels within six monthns and have a half a billion dollar ICO running. Again, Gleb was promoting his own lending platform recently (even claiming bitconnect were moderately successful in his spiel). Maybe he thought better of it due to being in USA as not sure if it's still a thing he's doing. |

What was the main reason for closing the Bitconnect account because there are many people suffering from this coin? Is there any chance that this coin recover it's valued because there might big loss to people who invested in it.

I will say two of the reasons they gave for shutting down BitConnect don't sit right with me....
Don't close a business purely because of bad PR, if you are still profitable.

There was no DDOS for sure, server admins just amulated it.
Why DDOS isn't continue for now and next 5 days to do not let users withdraw their BCC?
And two CAD letters couldn't affect the closure of the international crypto-currency lending program.

Yes it crash completely you can't withdraw bcc it's not working as they promised. I have some bcc and try to withdraw but it stay in pending for more than 6 hours!

Some dark souls have been capturing all these bitcoin evangelists and making them crazy. All the signs are there. They hate on a coin (BCC) that is far less of a Ponzi than the coin they seem to care about most (BTC). Seriously, do you know how easy it is to crash a coin's price, even good old BTC (at least with BCC the devs can't dump it as it will cost them more coins instead of less coins in interest payments and capital releases)? BCC is only down so much because lots of people are panic selling instead of holding the coin. The sensible thing would probably be to hold it if it falls so much. |

With the bitcoin price drive, the lending profit all come from capital gain of bitcoin. The end of the game also predictable, whenever bitcoin price plump than the project will halt or finish. |

Its last because of bitcoin price since majority deposit made by bitcoin and they also have control of bitconnect coin. Wrong again. They only paid in BCC tokens. The BCC went up at a higher rate than the lending rate (people who invest in the lending give up the growth of the BCC token as it's fixed in USD). Bitconnect have been massively profitable throughout due to the price and demand of their coin. They were effectively sharing the profits of the growth of the coin. The only problem now is they paid about 3 months interest to everyone in one go and everyone wants to cash out at the same time. |
